I'm so excited to share what's been happening lately.

A Fabulous June

This June has been absolutely incredible, the best ever!

I spent a good portion of it on a fantastic vacation, traveling from Oregon to New Orleans and back.

First, I went from Eugene to the beautiful Oregon Coast at Florence, then turned around and drove all the way south to visit City of The Rogue in the Valley of The Rogue State Park.

It was amazing to spend time with my mom, who hadn't been back to Oregon in seventeen years, as well as my brother, daughter, and son.

Turning 40 and New Orleans

While in New Orleans, I had the opportunity to celebrate a milestone birthday – turning 40! It was a wonderful experience to explore the Crescent City and soak up the unique culture and to pay my respects to my hero, Anne Rice by visiting her Crypt in Metairie Cemetery.

With little information save Celine’s family name, Antoine seeks out ancestral knowledge of the Loa in a desperate attempt to find his beloved.

A tireless search ensues, and Antoine must face the prejudices of the past, along with the mysterious forces that seem to be the only clue to finding the woman fated to be with him.

Looking Forward:

I'm already working hard on the next story, inspired by my recent New Orleans adventure, but I will tell y’all more about that later.

My next upcoming release is scheduled (A Toddling Mystery) for debut around Halloween, so stay tuned!
