20. Punjab is in the west of India and is the core of the Sikh people group. It was founded on 1 November 1956 and the capital is Chandigarh. The official language is Punjabi.

21. Rajasthan in northwestern India is the biggest state in India which was founded on 1 November 1956. Its capital and language are Jaipur and Hindi respectively.

22. Sikkim is in the northeastern some portion of India, is the smallest province of India. It was founded on 16 May 1975 and the capital is Gangtok. The official language is English.

23. Tamil Nadu is the southern state of India founded on 26 January 1950. Its capital is Chennai and the language spoken is Tamil.

24. Telangana is the most up to date state in south India including ten regions of Andhra Pradesh. It was founded on 2 June 2014 and the capital is Hyderabad. The official language is Telugu.

27. Uttarakhand is a state in Northern India nestled in the lap of Himalayas. The state shares international borders with Tibet and Nepal. It was founded on 2 November 2000. Its capital and language are Dehradun and Hindi respectively.

28. West Bengal lies to the east of India between the Himalayas and the Bay of Bengal, founded on 1 November 1956. The capital is Kolkata and the language is Bengali.
