Here are some insights on how best to explore KL for an awesome holiday.

When to visit KL

Being a tropical city, KL can be visited throughout the year and this capital city enjoys milder weather between 29 to 35 degrees Celsius during the day.

October to December period is prone to random showers, and from March to April period weather tends to be wet. The rest of the year has stable weather, and all outdoor activities can be enjoyed.

Arriving in and getting about in KL

Offering sound connectivity to the rest of the world through KL International Airport, visitors to KL have a great choice in deciding whether to take a direct flight to KL or to travel via another city like Singapore or Bangkok for passengers travelling from Asia to get the best possible fare. For your trip to the hotel on arrival, it is best to arrange a hotel transfer in advance or use an airport taxi by pre-agreeing the fare.

KL Metro is the most convenient way to travel in KL as it has an extensive network, and many visitors staying at serviced residences in KL use the metro as the stations are close to most of the attractions in the city. Fares on the Metro are reasonable, and you can buy the ticket from the station.

Apart from the Metro using the Grab Car app enables you to call a driver when you need to get to a place urgently or are getting back to your hotel after doing some heavy shopping as many guests at properties like Ascott Sentral Kuala Lumpur usually do.

Regular taxis are available in the city, however, it is best if the charges are agreed upon beforehand when using these services.
