Embrace the heart of the earth at the end of the world - Tasmanian Travel Chronicle

Tasmania is Australia's largest island. Located in the far south of the country, Tasmania is the farthest point from the equator, and the experience of this beautiful island is unforgettable. Launceston, with its quaint European buildings and garden-like guesthouses; The murals of Sheffield murals town; The cool and noble lakeside of Cradle Mountain; The glorious sunset of Scamander Rose; The bay of Fire and The Bay of Wineglass; The pretty blue cottage at Bischenault; That delicious lobster dinner in Swansea; Richmond's old churches and stone Bridges; The hospitality of hobart friends and lively weekend markets; Port Arthur Prison and the magical view of the Tasman Peninsula... Everything is so beautiful

Below is a map of Tasmania downloaded from the Internet. It is also known as the "heart-shaped island", or the "heart of the world", because it is shaped like a human heart. And because the heart-shaped island of Tasmania is located at the southernmost tip of Australia, Antarctica is within easy reach of crossing the Channel. Antarctica is a continent with no permanent inhabitants, so Tower Island has the title of the end of the world. If you look at a map of the world, Tasmania and Antarctica are literally at the end of the human world, just across the sea. From this map, we can see the shape of Tower Island, just ten days, we left our footprints on this map, feeling at the end of the world to embrace the heart of the world.

Our tour itinerary is: Launceston - Sheffield Mural Town - Cradle Hill - Scamander - Bay of Fire - Bishenow - Wineglass Bay - Swansea - Richmond - Hobart - Port Arthur - Tasman Peninsula. The journey begins in Launceston in the north of Tasmania, then travels southwest to Cradle Hill in the central Highlands, from Cradle Hill north along the coast to Scarmandel, and then along the east coast to Hobart, the capital of Tasmania, leaving Tasmania from Hobart. The whole trip took ten days.

After visiting Western Australia, South Australia and the Great Ocean Road in Australia, the three of us started our trip to the mysterious island of Tasmania on January 20, 2017. We boarded the plane to Tasmania at Melbourne Airport in the early morning. We arrived at Launceston Airport in the north of Tower Island around noon.

The most beautiful b&B in old Town

Near the airport, we picked up our car and set off on a road trip to Tasmania. First we had a quick snack downtown, then we went to our home in Launceston, the bed and breakfast my daughter described as a wonderland. Our daughter's honeymoon is Australia. She wants to take us to all the nice places she's been. The trip to Australia was also planned by my daughter, who visited many of the places she visited. She particularly admired the launceston b&B. Halfway up the hill on the edge of Launceston, facing the rushing Tamar River, the hotel is a flower-filled villa hotel. We were in Australia in January, the southern hemisphere summer, the best season to travel. Almost every day, blue sky, white clouds, bright sun. When I arrived, I was blown away by the scenery. The Mid-Mountain Guesthouse in the sun was beyond my imagination, like a fairyland in a fairy tale.

When we checked into the hotel, the hostess brought us fruit and wine, which was warm and romantic. Looking around the hotel, it is really luxurious, beautiful and comfortable. Standing in the restaurant of the hotel, the view from the floor-to-ceiling glass window is as beautiful as an oil painting. No wonder my daughter's been here once, and she never forgets.

The Tamar River, the mother river of Tartans, flows quietly near Launceston, giving the city the spirit of water. From the courtyard of our guesthouse, we could see the beautiful winding river.

The hotel was originally a villa for the mistress's family, but as the two children grew up and went to study and work on the Australian mainland, the house became particularly large and deserted. So she started a family hotel, the guests from south to north make her no longer lonely and lonely. Due to the hotel's excellent location and environment, as well as the hostess's good intentions and management, it soon became an Internet celebrity. My daughter came to the hotel because of its reputation and thought it was so beautiful and the service was so good that she brought us back to the hotel a second time.
