Many people believe that the holiday season is finished as the summer season comes to a close, but some of the best travel months of the year are September, October, and November. "Shoulder season" is the period from September to November when crowds are at their lowest but temperatures are still good. As a result, you can visit some of the places on your bucket list for a lower cost (and under far calmer conditions). Here are some ideas for places to visit this fall if you want to get away.

Tel Aviv, Israel

Tel Aviv, a city built around the beach, is among the top 10 beach destinations in the world. And why precisely fall for the beaches in Tel Aviv? Because while lounging on the beach, you won't have to endure the sun's brightness. With the arrival of a chilly fall, you may take advantage of the ocean, sands, shorelines, and breezes without having to deal with the crowds and oppressive summer heat. You will be able to take in the scenery of the Riviera as folks stroll through the area, go running, shop, sip coffee at a cafe, or simply relax by the Mediterranean.

Ontario, Canada

The fall foliage in Canada is lovely throughout, but certain regions are prettier than others. like the Ontario province. On this side of the Atlantic, the season is known as "Fall," and it is equally shimmering. The countryside turns into a golden hallow in late September, and everything is then seen through the lens of autumn. Algonquin Provincial Park, Canada's oldest and most gorgeous national park, the Agawa Canyon, Prince Edward County, the Bruce Trail, and Niagara Parkway are some of the top sites to visit during the fall season here. In a nutshell, Ontario is made up of lakes, maple trees, waterfalls, and picturesque fall drives, with Thanksgiving forming a warm embrace of sorts.

Utrecht, Netherlands

Old canals, wharves from the 12th century, boats moored along the canal walls, and quaint stores, boutiques, and restaurants line the streets of Utrecht, Netherlands. Once October arrives, the city gets chilly, but it also decks itself up in blazing red and orange dried leaves, making everything a thousand times more gorgeous. The Netherlands' religious center for centuries has been this ancient town, which is why it is also home to historic domes and cathedrals. Therefore, there are many things to discover both inside and outside that will make for Instagram-worthy images.

Tuscany, Italy

Tuscany, which is located in central Italy, is best known for the cities of Florence, Pisa, Lucca, and Chianti. Every season brings beauty to the area, but fall is especially stunning as the hills and rolling meadows become a vivid orange with rust and brown streaks, highlighting the region's distinctive medieval buildings, monuments, and cathedrals. Florence is worth a visit for its stunning medieval architecture, Michelangelo's David, the Uffizi, and the Duomo. Visit Chianti to sample its wines and vineyards, and take in the views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, Apennine Mountains, and olive groves that line Elba's beaches.

Lisbon, Portugal

The greatest season to visit Lisbon is between September and October since it is warm but not sweltering, lively with activity but without the tourist swarm, and well balanced with light rains and dry days. Lisbon is also at its most affordable during this shoulder season, providing you with a number of offers and discounts on lodging, meals, and flights. Furthermore, this city is particularly stunning in the fall, when the sky is typically bright, the sun rises high, and the streets are shaded by glistening red and yellow trees. When these things come together, it makes for the ideal opportunity to explore the city on foot, snap a ton of pictures, and ride the trams.

Berlin, Germany

Berlin is beautiful in the fall when dried leaves appear on other leaves, turning the days an orange color. Also illuminating the nights is the extravaganza of fairy lights that surrounds the Christmas Markets after dusk. Oktoberfest is celebrated at the end of September in Germany, and by the time October really arrives, the Christmas markets are put up to welcome the holiday season. Other tourist attractions in Berlin must also be seen at least once, and Charlottenburg Castle Christmas is a must-see.
