Sydney is a culturally diverse and cosmopolitan city. With over a hundred amazing beaches, scenic gardens, famous zoos, tall skyscrapers, party cruise boats and many more, the capital of New South Wales is a touristy place, with guests from around the world. The food scene is also significantly multiform with influence from many cultures around the world. There are numerous places spread across the famous city where you can experience the great cuisines whether you're in the depths of the city or along a beach. Here’s a small list of areas to pick out for a delightful dining experience.

Sydney Lunch Cruise

If you are seeking for a different experience from normal dining, the first place you need to add to the list is the harbour cruises, especially the Sydney lunch cruise. The harbour is famous for its exciting water activities and long fleet of boats. Cruising along the harbour is a mandatory experience for tourists and travellers and even for local Sydneysiders. This special cruise boasts magnificent views of the harbour and the Sydney skyline along with a savoury menu. Be ready for a breathtaking sightseeing experience when you get to witness the roving views of the harbour attractions including the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Fort Denison and many more. There are numerous cruise options like the premium glass boat with 360° views of the splendid harbour, the classic paddlewheeler with wrap-around verandah and a purpose-built catamaran with three expansive outer decks. Depending on the packages you select the menu can be a buffet or a banquet. These are cooked onboard by highly trained chefs. Enjoy your freshly prepared lunch at its vast dining space. Take a stroll on the outer decks and soak in the views of the Sydney skyline with a different perspective. You can also opt to purchase beverages or drinks from the fully licensed bar onboard. The ambience in the lunch cruise is optimal to have casual conversations with your friends or family or even a special someone. If you're looking for recreation, choose the cruise that has onboard entertainment like live band or music. The cruise is also an opportunity for a quick getaway right in the middle of the city but away from its hassle. Pick the best cruise that will tailor your needs and experience an impressive waterfront dining.

LuMi

Located on the Pyrmont Bay, Darling Harbour, LuMi Dining is a fine restaurant located on the harbour with extensive walls that makes it look like you're floating on water. The head chef specialises in Italian cooking with a Japanese twist as the locals call it and the menu includes similar fusion ideas. This is that kind of place that celebrates luxury and believes in giving you what you pay for. The foods here are vibrant with the Italian gunkan being the latest addition to the group which roughly translates to ‘battleship’.

There’s no unified menu with separate dishes but a package for different budgets with varying courses in each of them. Pick the LuMi experience to get a fourteen course meal along with ultra fine beverages and drinks. This is presented one by one starting with the gunkan, then small succulent snacks which include a filling of yellowfin tuna, fancy toasts, the Japanese steamed egg custard, snapper ceviche, Jerusalem artichoke and many more. Main course varies seasonally but often includes hapuka, quail or scarlet prawns, to name a few, followed by unbeatable desserts. You can additionally purchase dishes and drinks that catch your gaze and if you want to get a more comprehensive menu opt for the late dinner sitting where you can fully experience the chef's true art.
