Women United!

The union between modern women is becoming non-existent. Why such a continual struggle for women to promptly give up their personal empowerment between each other’s and wholly accept their imperfections and correctly see that each one of us are different in our own ways. Without making a critical judgement based on; what should we wear, what size we should be, what career we should have, and how should we behave in the society that has placed us in a hierarchy of needs and wants, in weaknesses and strengths, livingly always being watched and always criticised in everything we do?

"There is no competition, therefore I battle against no one."

Like Andrea Dworking said, ‘Feminism is hated because women are hated. Anti-feminism is a direct expression of misogyny; it is the political defence of women hating.’

There shouldn’t be any reason for us to compete between each other’s when truly the ultimate winning prize at the end would be: none, and the winning title would be ‘ignorance.’ You are not gaining anything from trying competing with each other, you would only end up conveying jealousy, loss of friendships, and hatred around you by typically having this bitter attitude that influences your insecurity.

As intelligent women, we should be recognized by our extraordinary strength and strive and endurance, and not to be known from any type of jealousy, being resentful and tearing each other down. There are some that do not like seeing their female peers succeeding, so what do they do? They do anything and everything to tear others apart by gossiping, spreading false rumours, and sometimes sabotage their personal friends from getting somewhere or losing a significant opportunity.

Don’t be a self-seeker, my female peers. Focus on yourself and your own career rather than trying to destroy other people's lives, remember there is always someone watching the actions you take, and there are always consequences that follow up.

Standing stronger together!

It is vastly significant that we begin to be more supportive. Less judgmental towards each other, get rid of the ugly things inside that are projected to others and that can deeply scar us. By being happy with ourselves, loving and accepting our imperfections, we can then begin to allow others to accept it too. Being confident in your own skin, begin fixing the problem that we women have in our society which is acceptance. We need more women to be role models to the present generation, by projecting an impactful image that can represent an influence on the lives of this generation and the decisions they will make.

A woman is meant to be a kind gentle being, understanding, and meant to have a nurturing nature, so we need to begin to transmit this positivity unto one another and get rid of all the negative things that can make a person wicked inside. As human beings, despite all the things that are sadly happening in our world, we need each other’s to help us exceed higher and bountifully.

Lupita Nyong’o is a role model to many young women out there, I love this quote since it signifies inspiration, she says ‘I hope that my presence on your screen and my face in magazines may lead you, young girls, on a beautiful journey. That you will feel the validation of your external beauty, but also get to the deeper business of being beautiful inside.’ I stand fully by her, beauty begins underneath all of this facade that we hide inside because of the fear of being judged, begin today by being yourself, and transmit your real inner beauty which can then flow in you outer side in order for others to see and follow.

Becoming stronger as one...

If there would be more unity between us, we would be more significantly henceforth in our careers, life, friendships, relationships, etc. We need to learn to respect each other wants and needs, our imperfections and flaws, and be united as one. Without having integrities and fierce competitiveness and judgement. Think like this, if we would support one another, there would be bigger opportunities like, women opening their own companies that would open many job positions for women who are jobless, everyone would have a chance to speak their own voice as oppose to be programmed on what they can say or not say, so be more opened, participate in more activities together without always being about competing for who is better than who, so rather than being weak beings join forces, since this way we are going towards the progression of becoming stronger as one.

Malala Yousafzai admirably expressed something which represents a key element for us to identify the underestimated importance of unity, ‘We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back.’
