Dear Goddess it's okay to not have it all together all the time.

Hey beautiful how are you doing? Have you eaten? Have you drank your 8 liters today? If not take a little sip right now. I’ll wait. I’m checking in on you, just in case no one has. Tired mamma? Yes i know it takes a village to raise a thriving little one. It’s hard to make the healthiest choices, because Panera’s bread bowls call your name like a drunk best friend after a break-up. Or when you go to Wendy’s for a salad but the picture of the bacon pretzel bun double cheese burger tells you it’ll hug you from the inside and then you end up regretting it middle of the night when the call of nature hits or early in the morning and your already late.

It’s hard but i see you love, i see you trying. Its okay if you don’t meet your 10k step goal, your 5k means your trying. Work deadline killing you? Focus as much time as you can to complete it, ask for more time if need be. It’s Okay if dinner is ready or that you burned the pasta, take out is a call away. It’s alright to cry, be sad, feel depressed, lost, and not know what your next step is. It’s okay if you ask for help. It’s hard out there. Life is tough. But there’s people that care.

It’s okay to take time for yourself. When’s the last time you treated yourself? With no worry of your husband, kids, work, of chores? Take yourself out to lunch, go get your nails done, binge watch your favorite TV show from Season 1 to Season 23. (I’m looking at you SUV). My point is that it’s important to take care of you. To make sure you are in the right mental space. Its so easy for you to get lost in the everyday routines, kids, work, chores, financial, family, the good the bad and the ugly. A lot can take a toll, and sometimes as woman, mothers, wives, sisters, daughters we take a lot on.

Sometimes it’s too much and we go on auto pilot meaning we keep going even though were tired. Even thought we’re burnt out and need a break. And that’s the easiest way to get yourself into the blues. You lose sight of yourself and whats important. Be kind to yourself and remember your human, it’s okay to not have it all figured out. And it’s okay to ask for help and take a break. Sometimes its needed to bring yourself back into a peaceful zen.

So next time you feel overwhelmed, sad, depressed or even a little lost on auto pilot ask yourself; What would make me happy right now? What is something i can do that will put me on the path to the happiness i pursue. And don’t worry if you don’t know. It’ll come to you. So please take care of yourself cause no one can do the job or jobs you do the way you do it. With class and grace.
