Ladies, ladies, ladies let's talk for a minute. So many of us were taught growing up that we have to be tough, strong and that being independent was the way to be. Now don't get me wrong that isn't all wrong. There are many benefits of being strong and having a sense of being independent. When were we ever taught about being feminine?
Now I don't mean just being taught how to be clean and to sit with our legs crossed. That's just the surface of things. You see there is an art to being feminine. Femininity is a great big beautiful art piece filled with many joys. Ladies we don't always have to be angry to prove that we are strong. There is such a blessing in learning to be still. Most times when we act out of aggression and anger it puts a very masculine and insecure look to us and takes away what we are so blessed with, femininity. When we are able to have a conversation with our men without yelling, cursing and screaming communication can get better. To be honest it can be the key to getting what we want. I don't mean in a manipulative kind of way but we are looked at in a different way when we flaunt this gift.
The femininity of a woman can bring peace and can bring light to a room. Just think about it when we were younger some of us heard the saying "ladies should be seen and not heard". Well I do understand that quote now. If a woman walks into a crowded room loud and belligerent versus a woman that walks in a room classy yet sexy and mild toned (unless it's a party lol). That woman has more mystery to her, more of a "I wonder what she's like" type of vibe.
Now this is not to condemn anyone if they don't desire to live in their femininity. However my ladies that do have that desire you can do so. I have not always been as feminine as I'd like and truthfully I'm still working on it. I've never been a tomboy or anything but I've done the yelling, the screaming, and the cursing to be understood. Now I know that with a touch of tapping into our femininity everyday we began to have more peace and progression in all parts of our lives.
