Jennifer Ramsey

Jennifer Ramsey is a former sprinter and jumper at Wright State University, who competed from 2018 to 2020. The muscle bound ball of energy got the first open win of her collegiate career in the 400 meters at the Ball State Tune-Up during the indoor season of 2020. She is now making a name for herself in the fitness and business worlds. Ramsey has motivated her Instagram followers with messages like this, "When somebody tells you that something is impossible that is a reflection of their own limitations and their own insecurities. They're telling you, you can do it, because they don't believe they could ever do it. Don't let somebody tell you that your dreams and goals aren't possible. Because you can achieve anything that you want."

Ramsey, a college graduate with a bachelor's of science in Exercise Science has over 230,000 followers on TikTok, She also owns her own cosmetic brand, better known as Confident Not Cocky Lashes.

Tyra Hunt

Like Ramsey, Tyra Hunt also was a sprinter and jumper from 2018 to 2020, but she competed for Michigan State. The Kentwood, Michigan native and East Kentwood High School alum, made her community proud when she took Academic All-Big Ten honors during the 2018-19 school year. These days Hunt is finding her stride as a photojournalist. Her work is very diverse. Hunt has a beautiful collection of graduate photos which are impressive enough, however, the buck doesn't stop there. She also has impressive shots of football, hockey, cheerleading, women's basketball and nature. In a world where everyone has a camera it can be difficult to standout, Hunt's work is not only outstanding, it is very credible.

Aliyah Llanusa

A, 5-7 guard out of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Aliyah Llanusa wrapped up her sophomore season, as she improved for the University of Central Oklahoma. As a freshman she struggled with shooting, hitting 31.2 percent of her shots. During the 2020-21 season Llanusa made 42.9 percent of her attempts from the field. From Feb. 18 to Feb. 27, Llanusa was a hot shooter making 11-of-17 shots at 64.7 percent. In a late season win against Missouri Western, Llanusa helped her team with a season high three steals to go along with a perfect 3-3 shooting effort in a reserve role of 13 minutes. She also took care of business in the classroom as she was named to the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association's Honor Roll.

During her freshman season in 2019-20, she had her best collegiate scoring performance to date where she shot 5-5 to post 13 points in a blowout win against Arkansas-Fort Smith. Known for her on-ball defense, Llanusa led Choctaw High School to a state title in Oklahoma. She was also selected as an All-State player.

Emiah Downie

We're on a roll with similarities in this feature. Like Llanusa, Emiah Downie is a 5-7 guard who is also a sophomore. She competes at Thomas University, an NAIA school in Thomasville, Georgia. Downie's scoring average jumped from 4.2 points per game as a freshman to 8.3 as a sophomore. She led her team in scoring on three occasions during the 2020-21 season and finished the year with 22 steals which was a tie for second at Thomas. Downie was her team's top free-throw shooter, knocking down 74.5 percent of her attempts from the charity stripe. The product of Green Acres, Florida had her best game of the season against Coastal Georgia, where she was second on the team with 17 points making seven of her 15 shots, including three out of seven attempts from three-point territory. Downie also had three assists in the game in which she was a starter.
