Let them understand how bad people will try and deflect blame onto their victims,

And where the shame should actually lie!

Teach them to get Angry rather than be frightened into inaction!

And IF the worst happens, teach them they are partly morally culpable for the suffering of future less strong victims, if they do not do everything in their power, despite all odds and resistance, to get that perpetrator locked away and dealt with!

But DO NOT FORGET to Also teach them the life skills of Empathy and to Care about the fate of Fellow Human Beings!

And while you are at it teach all this to your Son’s as well!

I have to admit that bit bothered me too.

I have very mixed feelings and find myself a "Bit on the fence" of that one.
