Marilyn Monroe is a special character from her iconic photo of standing on a subway grate and skirt flying up to be the most popular sex symbols of the 1950's. So, then what ever happened to her?

She lived an interesting life, short life, but very interesting life. Marilyn had a rough start to her life with her father disappearing and her mother committed into a mental institution. She spent most of her childhood in and out of foster homes and living in an orphanage. As a teenager her mother was released from the hospital. At this point her mother had taken her to red carpets and shows. This is when Marilyn wanted to make her life out to be to make this her career.

Monroe began her career in 1940’s, with minor roles. By the mid 50's her career had taken off. Between her acting career, music career to her modelling career. The woman is an inspiration for young woman.

By her second marriage, to which was bound to fail because by now Marilyn is too a captive of her career and wants greater independence selecting her own stories and directors. So, she ends up walking out on the contract she had going and forms her own film company in New York, ‘Marilyn Monroe Productions’.

Marilyn grew up and worked in a 'man's world.' So, then you had to work extra hard in order to be noticed. "A wise girl knows her limits; a smart girl knows that she has none."

Marilyn had the body. The curves, the arms, the hips. With all of this she is still deemed a sex symbol. Her fame made her a key feminine character in the twentieth century representing beauty, the mindset, and desires of the people in her life.

Marilyn was and still is today represents the ideal of beauty and femininity that was (is) prevalent. She had then catapulted her fame after her picture appeared on the cover of the first Playboy magazine in 1953.

Marilyn had succeeded on getting her ‘perfect life.’ If she had succeeded on get her perfect image life, then where did it all go wrong? Because Marilyn did get to the red carpet with her acting career, music career and modeling career, and she was a stunningly beautiful lady. She had everything she could ever want in life.

But as proven time and time again. Having everything in life doesn’t mean you will be happy. Marilyn had everything and it still wasn’t enough to satisfy her enough to keep her content. No amount of money or fame can keep someone happy. They only way someone can be happy is if they are truly happy with themselves.

By the 1960's Marilyn was divorced for the third time. By 1961 she became depressed. By 1962, was found dead in her home by her housekeeper. An autopsy was done and was deemed a probable suicide.

Marilyn Monroe had a fling with the Kennedys and in the end with conspiracy theories of the family having her murdered. Other conspiracy theories of her therapist had something to do with her death. The other conspiracies say she became depressed and couldn’t handle her current life and committed suicide.

Today if Marilyn Monroe was still alive today, she would be 94 as of June 2020. No one can’t help but wonder what she’d look like if she was still alive today. But if she’s anything like Betty White, she still be stunning, evening in your golden years.

Despite the rough upbringing and everything that Marilyn Monroe had gone through, if she was still alive today, she would have eventually fulfilled her life and eventually had everything she ever wanted. But then again,if she hadn’t died when she did would she still have the same kind of outcome. Like fame wise, would she still be seen today as the beautiful, outgoing, interesting, troubled woman we see her as today?

Or would Marilyn Monroe eventually have been faded, phased out like every other actor (actress)? I guess we will never know what would've happened.
