An Elegant Poetess

Taylor Swift is the Queen of Pop.

She is America's sweetheart, with her beautiful blonde hair, signature red lips, and piercing blue eyes.

In my mind, Taylor Swift is the epitome of elegance.

She is never afraid to accentuate her already beautiful face and figure, yet her decidedly pretty look is contrasted by her fierce, sometimes angry, often heartbroken, defiant lyrics.

As you can see, Swift knows how to capture the intimacy of heartbreak, romantic downfalls, foolish escapades, and thrilling rides of love like few others do.

Unsurprisingly, she is a fan of the written of the written word.

Personally, Taylor has gone through a lot: She's been bullied in school, she's lost relatives that were close to her, and she's had many, many heartbreaks, so much so that the sad, gut-wrenching songs seem almost routine with her.

Granted, she is a poet, so she is sometimes quite happy while writing tragic lyrics, which she has confessed herself.

According to Taylor Swift, she was honestly quite content while writing this. She admitted that in an interview.

She is clearly a musical mastermind, and the vast majority of people who talk about her say she is nothing but a sweet soul.

Nonetheless, Taylor Swift has practically "built a castle out of all of the bricks people have thrown at her."

She has taken devastating heartbreaks and converted them into hit after hit after hit.

She is on top of the world right now, and has remained perched in that position since the young age of 16.

I love her personality, because she has a sarcastic, dry sense of humor, and she isn't afraid to speak her mind.

She actually was for a long time, but she has since broken out of her shell.

There is definitely something to be said for that, especially when one considers her massive following.

Swift dresses to the nines wherever she goes, always presenting herself as flawlessly as possible, and also has many houses. She is a real estate mogul on the side, and is a wise businesswoman: Her father was a financial advisor, so she has clearly learned a lot from him.

Taylor is clearly a romantic and has dated many men, but a lot of people do, and it is difficult to find lasting love in this world. I actually admire her because she moves on if she needs to and is able to do so.

She doesn't stay in any unhealthy situation just because of the external pressure.

At 34, she is in a relationship and unmarried with no children.

Personally, I find this inspiring: Not everyone has to want kids, and there is an enormous amount of societal pressure placed on people to go this direction, even if it is not something that will work for them, or if it's simply not a desire.

In short, I admire Swift for daring to be herself.

She is quite a talent, she is beautiful, and she uses both to her advantage.

I also appreciate that she is in the process of rerecording her albums so she can own her master recordings.

As artists, it does seem rather essential that we can not only have our fingerprint on our work, but truly own it.

She has also added some songs to each album so far, which I absolutely love.

In short, I am a self-described Swiftie: This woman has gotten me through many low times and heartbreaks in my life, and I appreciate her golden touch when it comes to creating beautiful, heart-wrenching, deeply poetic music.

Taylor Swift is a force to be reckoned with.

At this point, she is undefeatable.
