WWE Elimination Chamber Recap: Edge Will Challenge Roman Reigns At Wrestlemania 37!

by Michael Reynoso about a month ago in fighting

Edge delivered a devastating spear to Reigns and will face the 'Head of the Table' at Wrestlemania 37. Plus, highlights from Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

A decision was made at the 'Elimination Chamber.

(Royal Rumble Winner) Edge will challenge the (Universal Champion) Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 37!

The 'Head of the Table' captured an easy win over a depleted Daniel Bryan, who outlasted 5 other superstars (Jey Uso, Cesaro, King Corbin, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn) inside the 'Elimination Chamber,' with a short victory. After a short celebration, Edge came out of nowhere and delivered a devastating spear.

This was payback for Reigns on Friday.

I bet the spear from Edge must have felt really good - at the appropriate time, too.

As a result, Edge wasted no time and chose to face Reigns by pointing at the Wrestlemania sign. The fireworks indicated that the match between these two greats will collide at the 'Showcase of the Immortals.'

After carefully evaluating his options from all 3 WWE brands (Raw, NXT, & Smackdown) and getting speared by Reigns, Edge will have a chance to win the Universal title for the first time.

Furthermore, Reigns got what he wanted.

A chance to main event Wrestlemania against the 'Ultimate Opportunist'.

Edge was right after all.

Reigns needed Edge to main event Wrestlemania.

Meanwhile, there is another opportunist who didn't took his destiny lightly. We all know who re-captured the WWE title.

He is none other than......'The Miz!'

The Miz cashed in his 'Money In The Bank' contract and became WWE champion once again

'I am the Miz.....and I'm......Awwwweesommeeee!

Yes he is.

The Miz successfully cashed in his 'Money In The Bank' contract on Drew McIntyre to re-capture the WWE title once again!

After an exhausted night for Drew McIntyre, he was able to retain his WWE championship inside the 'Elimination Chamber' with 5 former WWE champions (Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, Sheamus, & Kofi Kingston).

Shortly thereafter, The Miz wasted no time and delivered his signature move, 'Skull Crushing Finale' on McIntyre, and became the WWE champion for the second time.

The Miz sealed the win with 'Skull Crushing Finale'

After 10 long years, The Miz took advantage of his opportunity and reclaimed the top prize in all of entertainment. As for McIntyre, he will have to go back to the line like everyone else and compete to reclaim the WWE championship.

It must've been very devastating for McIntyre after a huge victory to retain the WWE title and lose it at the same night. Drew McIntyre entered the 'Elimination Chamber' as WWE champion and retained as champion. After a short celebration, the WWE title was taken from him.

The last time this incident happened was when Edge, the 'Money In The Bank' winner at the time, cashed in his contract to spear John Cena to become WWE champion.

Remember, after John Cena came out of the 'Elimination Chamber' victories as WWE champion, the 'Money In The Bank' winner, Edge, wasted no time and delivered a spear to win his first WWE title. John Cena came in as WWE champion and won the match. In the end, it was Edge who came out on top.

This victory marked the beginning of the 'Ultimate Opportunist' era that led Edge to 31 championships and a Hall of Fame career.

What's Next:

(WWE Champion) The Miz will defend his WWE title against the 'All Mighty' Bobby Lashley on Monday Night Raw (03/01/2021).

(Royal Rumble Winner) Edge and (Universal Champion) Roman Reigns will appear on Friday Night Smackdown (02/26/2021).

In the end, Reigns got his wish and Edge will have a chance to become Universal champion at Wrestlemania 37.

The question still remains.

Will Edge be the one to finally bring the 'Head of the Table' to its knees and send him at he back of the line?

Or will the 'Tribal Chief' send Edge back home and retain his Universal championship?

All of these questions will be answered on the road to Wrestlemania.

That is all I have for you today, WWE fans!
