The games that are considered for National Players of the Week range from Dec. 11 - Dec. 117.

Leilani Correa - St. John's - Sophomore - Guard

The high scoring guard had her second 30-plus point performance of the season. In a 66-62 loss to Marquette Leilani Correa led all scorers with 31 points, Dec. 16. She shot 11-21 and 8-8 from the free-throw line. Just six days before she had 35 points in a loss to Delaware.

Despite St. John's 2-4 record, Correra's season is impressive thus far. She is averaging 23 points per game. She is also playing amazing defense averaging 2.3 steals per contest. She has improved from last season where she averaged 12.2 points and 1.2 steals per game. The Manchester, New Jersey native has scored at least 16 points in every game this season.

Caitlin Clark - Iowa - Freshman - Guard

West Des Moines, Iowa native Caitlin Clark is representing her home state well in her first collegiate season. After her first five games she is the number one leading scorer in the nation at 29.8 points per game. Clark has made at least 10 shots in every game except one. In games against Iowa State and Michigan State she scored a combined 79 points. She also made 39 percent of her threes going 9-23, while making 94 percent of her free-throws (16-17).

Clark scored at least 30 points in three of the five games played. She also hasn't scored under 23 points, nor has she had a contest without making three shots from the three-point line.

Tori Williams - Colorado State - Senior - Guard

Colorado State is off to a 6-1 start and the three-point shooting of Tori Williams has something to do with its success. This week she drained nine-of-23 three-pointers.

Williams kicked the season off making eight-of-10 threes in a win over NCAA Division II Regis. She scored 30 that game and since then she's been a consistent threat from long distance with an average of 16 points per game which is tops on her team. This is a career year for her so far. Prior to this year Williams had never averaged more than 10.7 points per game. She is also a career 37 percent three-point shooter. This season she is shooting 49 percent overall and 48 percent from three.

Williams' 28 made threes is second best in the entire nation on the NCAA Division I level.

Unique Thompson - Auburn - Senior - Forward

College basketball's most Unique player is putting together a nice senior campaign. So far Unique Thompson is averaging career highs with 18.6 points and 14.1 boards per game. Her rebound average is the third best in the nation. On Dec. 17, she had a total of 18 rebounds to go with 19 points.

Thompson has a 20-20 game this season as well. In a victory against Houston earlier this month she posted 26 points and 23 boards, both season highs. After posting 16 points and seven rebounds in game one, Thompson hasn't had anything less than 11 points and 11 rebounds in a game since Nov. 25. Thompson leads her team in scoring, rebounds and steals as she is averaging a career best 3.4 swipes per game.

Esmery Martinez - West Virginia - Sophomore - Forward

After a hard loss to Baylor, where she pulled down 12 rebounds and scored nine points. Esmery Martinez had an even bigger rebounding game three nights later.

For the second time this season, the second leading rebounder in the nation pulled down over 20 boards. Against James Madison she yanked down 21 rebounds while scoring 11 points for her third double-double in seven games.

The sophomore leads West Virginia in rebounding at 14.5 rebounds per game and is third in scoring, steals and blocked shots per game. This is her second time being named National Player of the Week.
