The win came just two days after an eight-point loss at UNLV. Wyoming was down 30-28 at halftime. Ramos' scoring kept her team in the fight during the first half.

"Good thing for Alba in that first half, she came out and hit some shots and got to the basket and really carried us in the first half," Wyoming head coach Gerald Mattinson said. "I'm also really pleased with McKinley Bradshaw as well, she hit some crucial shots for us and I thought Quinn [Weidermann] also played well. Great win. "

Guards Bradshaw and Weidermann combined for 23 points.

Sanchez Ramos averages seven points per game over her career. She kicked off the season with 12 points in a 79-67 win over Denver. Over her next two games she averaged seven points while connecting on just five-of-18 shots. On Tuesday's game against UNLV, Sanchez Ramos hit eight-of-15 shots.

Desi-Rae Young led UNLV in scoring. She posted 20 points on nine-of-13 shooting. It was her career best as well. The 6-1 freshman forward has scored at least 10 points in all but one game this season.
