The games that are considered for National Players of the Week range from Jan. 22 - Jan. 28.

Leilani Correa - St. John's - Sophomore - Guard

This six-foot guard is averaging 20 points per game this season. She just had her best week as a scorer, starting with 29 points and five assists in a three-point road loss to Villanova. Correa followed that up with 35 points on 11-of-22 shooting from field and 10-of-12 from the free-throw line in a road win over Georgetown.

Correa has had three games over 30 points this season. In her fourth game of the season she had 35 points against Delaware. She also had 31 against Marquette two games later.

Anastasia Hayes - Middle Tennessee State - Senior - Guard

Anastasia Hayes wears number one and it's for a reason. When it comes to scoring from Jan. 22-28, she was the number one scorer in the nation. She put up 25 points on Jan. 22, and 20 on Jan. 23 in two games against Western Kentucky. In both contests she made a combined 20-of-32 shots, for 62 percent. On Jan. 28, Hayes scored her season best 42 points and tied her season high with six steals against Alabama-Birmingham.

Her great week helped put her back in the number one spot as the overall scorer in the nation as well with an average of 28.6 points per game. Hayes has not scored under 20 points for the entire season. She has scored 25 or more points 12 times this season.

Monika Czinano - Iowa - Junior - Center/Forward

The 6-3 post player had a dominant performance in a loss against Northwestern, Jan. 28. Czinano made 17-of-19 shots to put up 34 points and 11 rebounds.

This was her first game over 30 points this season. She scored a previous season best 28 points over Northwestern on Jan. 9. The game on Jan. 28 was also her second double-double of the season. Cizinano is averaging 19.8 points which is second for Iowa. She has only had one game with less than 15 points all season. She's also only shot under 50 percent in a game once as well.

Chelsea Dungee - Arkansas - Senior - Guard

On Jan. 28, UConn rolled into Arkansas with a 10-0 record and left with a 10-1 record. Chelsea Dungee was a major reason why that happened. She scored 37 points on 13-0f-21 shooting. Dungee also made four-of-five three-pointers as well.

After a solid start to the season where she scored over 20 points once in her first five games, Dungee has terrorized her opponents as of late. She has scored over 30 in three of her last six games and hasn't scored under 21 points in her last eight contests. Dungee is averaging a career high 22.5 points per game this season

She is also having a good defensive season. In her last seven games Dungee has collected 15 steals.

CeCe Hooks - Ohio - Senior - Guard

CeCe Hooks is having a hell of a year. She is averaging 26.4 points which is second best in the country.

On Jan. 23, in a road win over Western Michigan, Hooks scored her season high of 38 points with eight rebounds, three assists and two steals. On that night she hit 14-of-23 shots, good for a 60 percent shooting clip. Hooks followed that up with a 29-point 11-rebound effort in a three-point loss to Eastern Michigan. Five of her 11 rebounds were offensive boards which is her best total in that category this season.

She has only had two games with 18 points this season. Those are her lowest scoring outputs. Hooks has had three games with at least 30 points this season and has scored over 26 points nine times.
