Maryland 103 - Illinois 58

Guard Katie Benzan drained six-of-12 threes and led her team with 22 points as Maryland thrashed the visiting Illinois Fighting Illini 103-58.

Benzan, a 5-6 senior guard scored at least 20 points for the fifth time this season. It was her sixth game with at least six three-pointers made. A transfer from Harvard she is hitting a career high 51.8 percent from three and scoring a best 14.8 points per game. Fellow senior Chloe Bibby pitched in 20 points on eight-of-15 shots. She had the most offensive rebounds with five and overall boards at nine. Sophomore guard Ashley Owusu posted 17 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Maryland improved to 15-3, while Illinois dropped to 3-14. Illinois' bright spot of the day was guard Jada Peebles. She had 18 points, making seven-of-14 shots.

Oklahoma State 59 - Kansas State 46

When Natasha Mack gets on the floor, it's going to be a hard night for her opponent. She led her team with 24 points and 17 rebounds in a 13-point home victory. She has grabbed 16 or more rebounds eight times. Mack entered the game as the fifth best rebounder in the nation with an average of 12.2 boards per game. She is the number one shot blocker in the country at four 4,1 swats per game. Mack blocked four shots against Kansas State and stole the ball two times. Guard Ja'Mee Asberry also gave Oklahoma State a lift with 18 points making four three-pointers on eight attempts.

Kansas State center Ayoka Lee continued her fabulous season where she is averaging 19 points per game. She scored 27 points, making 12-of-19 shots. She has scored at least 19 points in each of the last seven games.

Temple 68 - Tulsa 46

Forwards Alexa Williamson and Mia Davis had double-doubles, lifting Temple over the .500 mark in a 22-point win over AAC conference foe Tulsa. Willamson led the team with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Davis had 17 and 10 rebounds to go along with four assists. Davis leads the team in scoring and rebounds with averages of 18 points and seven boards per game. Jasha Clinton shared the team lead with four assists as she scored 12 points too. Temple shut Tulsa down offensively as the Hurricane made only 16-of-57 shots.

Fairfield 63 - Iona 56

Andrea Hernangomez led Fairfield with 13 points, matching her season high as Fairfield improved to 8-4 in a victory against Iona. The 6-1 forward scored in double-digits for the fifth time this season. She matched her season high in points, while hitting three-of-four threes which is her best performance beyond the arc this season. Forwards Katie Armstrong and Lou Lopez-Senechal both scored 11 points each. Fairfield took care of the ball better than its opponent. The Stags had 18 assists versus 14 turnovers. Iona (4-8) had 12 assists versus 20 turnovers. The Gaels were led in scoring by guard Juana Camilion's 15 points. She made three of her seven three-point shots. Olivia Vesaldenos came off the bench to hit four-of-seven three-point attempts on her way to 12 points.

Western Michigan 71 - Kent State 58

Western Michigan outscored Kent 40-16 in the second and third quarters to overcome a seven-point first quarter deficit, cruising to a 13-point home win.

Six-foot-two, senior forward Reilly Jacobson scored a season best 27 points for Western Michigan on 11-of-16 shooting. She also had two steals and a block. WMU guard Sydney Shafer just missed a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. Forward Taylor Williams also had a productive night with nine rebounds, eight points, three steals, one block and one assist.

Kent was led with a double-double by Nila Blackford. She scored 14 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. Her teammate forward Lindsey Thall shared the team lead with 14 points. Western Michigan improved to 4-13 and Kent dropped to 7-6.
