This season has had some amazing performances by some big time players. While we showcase many hoopers, it's hard to feature every deserving player. This write-up is dedicated to a group of players that are making an impact on teams that are in the midst of great seasons but aren't getting a ton of attention.

Lauren Gustin- BYU - Sophomore - Forward

This 6-1 forward has recorded eight double-doubles and has grabbed at least 10 rebounds in all but one of her games this season. Lauren Gustin's pulled down at least 16 rebounds on four occasions. Her average of 13.2 rebounds is second best in the nation.

She scored 21 points in a road win against Utah State earlier this season. Gustin averages 11.5 points per game.

Blanca Millan - Maine - Senior - Guard

A native of Spain, Blanca Millan is the leading scorer for the 12-1 Main Black Bears. At 6-1, she is averaging a career best 22 points per game and 7.6 rebounds. Millan started the season by scoring 30 points in three of her first four games. She has had four double-doubles, including a 30-point, 14-rebound effort in a win over Providence.

Millan is also averaging 2.8 steals on the defensive side. She stole the ball six times to go along with 20 points in a road win over Binghamton.

Araion Bradshaw - Dayton- Senior - Guard

The Dayton Flyers are 8-1 and their Boston native point guard is a big reason why. Araion Bradshaw doesn't score much, with an average of 7.7 points on 34 percent shooting from the field and 57 percent from the free-throw line. Where Bradshaw makes her name is in every other category. The 5-6 playmaker leads the team with averages of 6.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

She takes care of the ball on a high level. Bradshaw has had 25 assists and only six turnovers over her last five games.

Kierstan Bell - Florida Gulf Coast - Sophomore - Guard

After a solid freshman season at Ohio State where she averaged 11 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, Kierstan Bell is having a masterful sophomore campaign. This year she is scoring 23 points with 10.8 boards per game. Her scoring average is 10th best in the nation.

Bell's shooting percentage is 54 percent, up from the 40 percent that she shot as a freshman. Her three-point makes has gone up from an average of 1.8 as a freshman to 3.5 so far this season. Oh and her three-point percentage is up from 32 to 42 percent. Bell has collected double-doubles in nine games this year.

Taylor O'Brien - Bucknell - Junior - Guard

Taylor O'Brien is leading Bucknell in scoring at 16.1 points per game on 50 percent shooting. Bucknell is currently 8-0 in the Patriot League and O'Brien's strong play has a lot to do with it. She has scored at least 18 points in five of her first eight games this season.

Prior to this season she has never shot over 41 percent. Last season she averaged 8.5 points per game. O'Brien's best game this season was Jan. 10 in a win over Lafayette. She scored 22 points on nine-of-12 shooting while grabbing 10 rebounds with four assists, two steals and a block.

Chanin Scott - North Carolina A&T - Senior - Guard

The NCAT Aggies are off to a 7-1 start, with a balanced squad. Chanin Scott is an all-around talent that is making a difference on both sides of the court. She is second on the squad in scoring at 12 points per game but first in rebounding at 9.3 boards and thefts with 2.1 steals per game.

Scott has had five games with nine or more rebounds including her only double-double of the season. She scored 16 points with 10 rebounds in a win over Norfolk State. Scott's season high of six steals came in a road win over South Carolina State.
