Anastasia Hayes - Middle Tennessee State - Senior - Guard

After a year at Tennessee, the native of Murfreesboro returned home in 2019 and this year she became the most potent scorer of women's college basketball prior to conference tournament play. She currently averages 26.8 points and had five games with at least 30 points, The 5-7 guard is third in the nation with 153 made free-throws.

Nancy Mulkey - Rice - Senior - Forward

Nancy Mulkey is not only a giant of a woman at 6-9, she is one of the most efficient forwards in the sport. She guided Rice to an 12-2 conference record, while averaging a career best 15.7 points on 58.8 percent shooting. She also pulls down 8.3 rebounds while blocking 3.1 shots per contest.

Iggy Allen - Florida Atlantic - Senior - Guard

After stints at Mississippi State and Miami, Iggy Allen has found her groove at Florida Atlantic. The guard went from limited playing time last season at Miami with an average of 1.9 points to posting 22.6 points per game and making 40 percent of her threes this year.

Octavia Jett-Wilson - Charlotte - Freshman - Forward

Octavia Jett-Wilson was on a roll this season with her averages of 19.9 points and 6.5 boards per game. She had two 42-point games this season. She also had seven or more rebounds on 11 occasions.

Quincy Noble - North Texas - Junior - Guard

North Texas improved as a team going 9-3 in the conference this season. Quincy Noble averaged 17.3 points per game this season. She was a strong three-point shooter as she had 10 games with at least three makes from three-point territory.

Player of the Year: Anastasia Hayes, Middle Tennessee State

Second Team

Jada McMillian - Charlotte - Junior - Guard

A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Jada McMillian was a high percentage scoring guard for the Charlotte 49ers. She is averaging 16.6 points per game on 52.7 percent shooting from the field. She was also a generous distributor recording nine games with at least five assists.

Amari Young - Old Dominion - Junior - Forward

At 5-11, Amari Young put her body on the line night after night grabbing 11.4 rebounds per game, which was second in the conference. She had two games with 24 rebounds this season which included a 24-point, 24-rebound performance. She also average 13.7 points per game.

Jasmine Smith - Rice - Junior - Guard

Jasmine Smith is the floor general for Rice as it had the best regular season finish in Conference USA. She led the team with four assists per game. Smith also shot a career best 50 percent from the field this season.

Zakyia Weathersby - UAB - Senior - Center

Zakyia Weathersby is in the NCAA's top 10 in rebounding with a clip of 12.1 boards per game. She also averages 13.4 points per game on 58.7 percent shooting. The 6-2 center had two 20-point, 20-rebound games this season

Kyla Nelson - Florida International - Senior - Guard

After spending her first three years at Pitt as a role-player, Kyla Nelson became a key player for Florida International. She shot 44.7 percent from three and averaged 14.3 points per contest.

All-Defense

Nancy Mulkey, Rice - Senior - Forward

Anastasia Hayes - Middle Tennessee State - Senior - Guard

Iggy Allen - Florida Atlantic - Senior - Guard

Jazmin Harris - Charlotte - Junior - Center

Jazmin Harris was third in the conference with a career best average of 1.3 blocks per game. She blocked a season best seven shots against Western Kentucky.

Meral Abdelgawad - Western Kentucky - Junior - Guard

A native of Cairo, Egypt, Meral Abdelgawad was a defensive nuisance. She had eight games with three or more steals. The 5-11 guard averaged 2.7 steals, while grabbing 7.7 boards per game.

Defensive Player of the Year: Nancy Mulkey, Rice

Freshman of the Year: Melyia Grayson, Southern Mississippi

Melyia Grayson is a 6-3 center that put together a sound rookie campaign for Southern Mississippi. She averaged 9.2 points, making 56.8 percent of her shots. She also blocked 1.2 shots per game.

Coach of the Year: Jalie Mitchell, North Texas

Under the guidance of Coach Mitchell, North Texas rose from a 6-12 Conference USA finish in 2019-20 to 9-3 this season. Her team was the third best in the conference allowing just 13.8 turnovers per game. North Texas earned a strong win at the close of regular season play with a 75-66 win over first place Rice.
