Jayda Jansen - Toledo

A 5-9 guard from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Jayda Jansen is entering her senior season at Toledo. After a strong three-year career at Maryville University where she averaged 19.1 points per game during the 2020-21 season, Jansen made the leap to the NCAA Division I level last season. During her first season at Toledo, she helped the Lady Rockets blast off to a 29-6 record and an appearance in the quarterfinal round of the WNIT. As a reserve Jansen averaged six points per game. She got hot from three-point territory late in the season making nine of her last 18 attempts from long range. In four WNIT contests Jansen made four of her seven three-point attempts. Jansen scored a season high 14 points in a blowout win against Central Michigan, where she also grabbed a season best six boards.

Leigha Brown - Michigan

Leigha Brown is a 6-1 guard from Auburn, Indiana, who is a senior at Michigan. After playing two seasons at Nebraska, Brown has competed the last two years for the Wolverines. She has scored 1,385 points while shooting 45.3 percent from the field during her career. Last season Brown averaged 14 points per game, while shooting a career best 82.2 percent from the free-throw line. She led Michigan to victory over the fifth ranked team in the nation when she scored 25 points in an overtime win against Baylor. She followed that up with 24-point effort against rival Ohio State, which was next contest. Brown scored 20 points for the fourth and final time of the season during the second round of the NCAA Tournament in a win against Villanova. Michigan went on to advance to the Elite Eight finishing the season at 25-7.

Aneesah Morrow - DePaul

There may not be a better player in all of the NCAA than forward Aneesah Morrow. As a freshman, the Chicago, Illinois native, represented for her hometown school averaging an NCAA leading 13.8 rebounds per game. She was also 11th in the NCAA in scoring at 21.9 points per game. Morrow had her biggest scoring output of the season with 41 points making 16-of-26 shot attempts in a win over Creighton. She also pulled down 18 rebounds, while collecting two steals and one block. That was one of many big-time efforts during the season. She debuted scoring 31 points, missing just three of her 16 shots in her first collegiate game, a win over Texas Southern. In a Big East road win over Seton Hall, Morrow grabbed a career high 27 rebounds, while scoring 22 points. Morrow averaged 2.7 steals and 1.8 blocked shots as she proved to be as polished on the defensive end as she is offensively.

Esmery Martinez - Arizona

After a three-year career at West Virginia, Esmery Martinez is off to a new beginning at Arizona. A 6-2 forward from Hato Mayor del Rey, Dominican Republic, Martinez made waves during a career season in 2020-21. She averaged a career best 13.6 points, 11.6 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.1 blocked shots per game. Last season her numbers dropped to 11.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, but she still displayed moments that put her among the elite frontcourt competitors in the NCAA. Martinez started the final month of the season with 22 points, 19 rebounds, four assists and four steals against Kansas State. In her last game at West Virginia she scored 18 points with 11 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals in the quarterfinal round of the Big 12 Championship against Iowa State.
