Maryland's Diamond Miller is a 6-3 senior who has scored 1,035 points on 45 percent shooting over her first three seasons at Maryland. She averaged a career best 17.3 points per game in 2020-21. Last season she averaged 13.1 points per game. In the first round of the NCAA Tournament she scored 23 points in a win over Delaware, where she shot 66.7 percent from the field. In round two Miller posted 24 points with nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and a block against Florida Gulf Coast. Lavender Briggs joins Miller as a potent scoring option for the Terrapins. Briggs averaged 15.8 in 61 games over three seasons at Florida. She technically only completed one full season as a Gator. She suffered a season ending injury in 2020-21 after 18 contests and entered the transfer portal in 2021-22 after 14 contests. Briggs also averaged 6.1 points and 1.2 steals during her time at Florida.
Another transfer to watch is Allie Kubek. A 6-2 forward from Elkton, Maryland, Kubek averaged 14.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game for Towson. She shot 50.1 percent from the field and went out on a high note in her final game for Towson. In a first-round appearance of the Women's National Invitational Tournament against Old Dominion, Kubek posted 21 points and 16 rebounds.
