Athlete: Jasmyn Allen
School: Akron
Meet: Jesse Owens Classic April 27, 2019
We caught Jasmyn Allen during her freshman season at Akron as she competed at the Jesse Owens Classic in Columbus, Ohio. Allen's 100-meter hurdles race saw her win her heat at 14.43. She placed ahead of fellow freshman Monica Johnson (14.77), who later went on to finish a very close second in the 100-meter hurdles championship race of the Horizon League.
At that meet Allen finished 15th out of 37 competitors. During her heat, Allen turned a tight race into a route towards the end as she continued to her to improvement that carried over to the 2020 season where she

School: Kentucky
Meet: Hoosier Open, December 7, 2018
One of the most talented sprinters in the nation, we have a race featuring Celera Barnes during her junior season. In this video she sprints to the lead in heat two past five other competitors in Bloomington, Indiana, finishing at 7.47.
During her senior indoor season in 2020 Barnes improved her time drastically as she ran at career best time of 7.18 which was one of the best finishes in the nation.

Meet: Jim Green Invitational, January 11, 2020
Cincinnati freshman, Taylor Beard competes in the Jim Green Invitational at the University of Kentucky, in Lexington, Kentucky. This was Beard's second time high jumping on the collegiate level. We have footage of the jumps that she cleared at 1.60 and 1.65 meters.
Beard placed ninth out of 22 competitors which included this season's MEAC indoor high jump champ Paula Salmon as well as jumpers from Ohio State, Kansas State and a pro from the Virgin Islands, Yashira Rhymer-Stuart.
Athlete: Azariyah Bryant
School: Lakota East High School (Liberty Township, Ohio)
Meet: OHSAA Division I State Track & Field Championships , June 1, 2019
During her ninth grade season, Azariyah Bryant made her mark as one of the best long jumpers in the state of Ohio. On this video we include multiple jumps from the state track and field championship meet in 2019. At this meet she placed third with her best jump clocking in at 18-feet, five and 1/4 inches.
Bryant continued to make strides in 2020 as she had the 16th best high school jump in the nation at 18-feet, 11 and a half inches.

School: Vainqueurs Plus
Meet Canadian Track & Field Championships, July 5, 2018
In 2018, a then 16-year-old Orianne Chéry competed for a chance to qualify for the preliminary round of the U-20 400 meters race at the Canadian national championship meet.
We captured her in action as she ran a smooth race winning her heat at 57.56, which was the second fastest time in the qualifying round. Chéry continues to compete in multple events as one of the top up and coming competitors in Quebec. This year she competed in the 60 meters, 200 meters, 300 meters and long jump during the outdoor season.
