Texas won the Big 12 Championships and finished tied for seventh at the NCAA Division I Track & Field Championships. In the Big 12 Championships 100 meters final, Kynnedy Flannel (11.19), Rhasidat Adeleke (11.36), Kevona Davis (11.36) had the top three spots. In the 200 meters Flannel (22.66) and Adeleke (23.03) were one and two. Flannel shined throughout the season with 100, 200 and 400-meter relay wins at the Texas vs. Texas A&M meet. She also won the 200 meters at the LSU Alumni Gold meet. After the conference meet, Flannel was second at the NCAA West Preliminary Round where she won the 200 meters at 22.65. She qualified for the 200 meters and 400-meter relay at the NCAA championship meet.

Like the 100 and 200 meters, the Longhorns dominated the 400 as well. Stacey Ann Williams (51.30) and Kennedy Simon (52.24) raced to first and second place finishes in the quarter mile at the conference championship meet. Williams rolled to a 400 meters runner-up finish at the NCAA West Preliminary Round. She finished sixth in the 400-meters at the NCAA championships.

Senior Kathryn Gillespie won the Big 12 championship in the 1,500-meter run at 4:22.21. She took first at the Longhorn Invitational to start her outdoor season at 4:22.91. Gillespie also placed fourth in the 5,000 meters, one spot behind Madeline Vondra, a junior who placed third at 16:16.43. Vondra also placed third in the 10,000 meter finals at 34:30.14.

Texas had three of the top six hurdlers in the 100-meter hurdles at the Big 12 Championships. Sophomore Tara Davis placed first at 13.02, junior Chanel Brissett was third at 13.17 and Aasia Laurencin placed sixth at 13.77. Davis had a great season in the long jump as well as the hurdles. She also won the Big 12 title in the long jump at 6.97. She also won the NCAA title in that event at 6.70. Brissett had her first outdoor season at Texas after previously being at USC, where in 2019 she was an NCAA runner-up. This season Laurencin was the only Texas hurdler who made it to the NCAA championships in the 100-meter hurdles.

Freshman Brooke Jaworski won the Big 12 title in the 400-meter hurdles at 58.25. The Longhorns got a conference title in the 400-meter relay as Chanel Brissett, Kevona Davis, Rhasidat Adeleke and Kynnedy Flannel won at 44.36. That same foursome placed fourth at the NCAA championships at 43.20. Texas also took the 1,600-meter relay conference title with Serenity Douglas, Kennedy Simon, Davicia Patterson and Stacey Ann Williams finishing at 3:29.82. They placed fifth at the NCAA championships (3:26.72).

Senior Elena Bruckner won the discus conference championship, while placing fourth and seventh in the shot put and hammer throw respectively. She also qualified for the NCAA Division I Track & Field Championships in the shot put as well. Texas also had a conference winner in the heptathlon in Kristine Blazevica. She also placed third in the heptathlon at the NCAA meet with 5,984 points, which was her season's best.
