Eastern Michigan finished second as a team at the Mid American Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Alyson Davis was second at the conference championship in the 100 meters final at 11.77. Alysse Wade won the Mid American Conference gold in the 100-meter hurdles at 13.87. Prior to that victory she claimed her first outdoor victory of the season at the Golden Grizzlies Mini Meet a week before with a time of 13.94.

The Eagles got a first place finish in the 400-meter relay behind the feet of Davis, Micah Johnston, Brittni Mason and Kolby Ganther who won at 45.64. Eastern Michigan got 400-meter relay wins during the season at the Bobcat Invitational and Grizzly PR Classic as well.

Quintella Johnson was Eastern Michigan's standout high jumper as she won the conference championship with a mark of 1.78 meters. She followed that victory with a win at the NCAA East Preliminary Round, clearing a career best height of 1.82. She qualified for the NCAA Track & Field Championships in the long jump where she placed 16th overall. Nina Ward placed second in the conference championship long jump competition. Her mark of 5.89 meters earned her a silver medal and was her best placing at a meet during the outdoor season.

Kristine Bourg earned second place for the Eagles in the javelin throw at the Mid American Conference meet. The senior threw 44.07 which was her all-time best attempt. Her win capped off a successful outdoor season where she also won the javelin throw at the Bobcat Invitational, the Grizzly PR Classic and the Knights Invite.
Other Eagles of note who contributed to the team's success are Mair Edwards and Micah Johnston who placed fifth and seventh respectively at the conference championship in the 200 meters. The duo also placed sixth and eighth respectively in the 400 meters. Edwards earned her lone outdoor win during the outdoor season at the Grizzly PR Classic. Johnston had success prior to the conference meet with a third place finish at the USF Bulls Invite in the 400 meters and a runner-up finish in the 200 at Spec Towns Invitational. She also had a second place 400 meters finish at the Grizzly PR Classic.
Hammer thrower Kadian Clark placed fourth at the conference championship with a mark of 58.87. She earned three straight wins in the hammer throw at the Grizzly PR Classic, Knights Invite and Golden Grizzlies Mini Meet. The junior also had a strong season in the shot put event with wins at the Grizzly PR Classic and the Knights Invite. She placed second in the shot put at the Spec Towns Invitational and Golden Grizzlies Mini Meet.
