Meet the baddest women of track and field in 2021

Indoor track and field is wrapping up with the NCAA national meet occuring this weekend. As we prepare for the outdoor season we will introduce you to the flyest track stars on Instagram. This sport is full of great women who have personality along determination and athleticism. Here's a few of the great women who will be running, jumping and throwing in facilities all around the United States as well as the world.

Sanaa Hebron - High School Junior - Pennsylvania

Sanaa Hebron earned a victory at the Armory #3 meet in the 300 meters with a time of 40.12. She recorded a top three finish in the 300 at the VA Showcase with a personal record of 39.14.

Lexi Ellis - Oregon - Junior

Lexi Ellis placed second in the triple jump at Championships at the Peak. In 2019 she was third in the event at the MSPF indoor championship meet.

Dallyssa Huggins - Iowa - Senior

Dallyssa Huggins was a silver medalist in the high jump at the Canadian national meet back in 2018. She also was a third place competitor in the heptathlon at the under-20 Pan American games back in 2017. This year she won the bronze in the heptathlon at the Big Ten Championships for Iowa as the Hawkeyes won the conference title.

Keira Christie-Galloway - Arizona State - Sophomore

Here is another Canadian athlete. Keira Christie-Galloway set her country's record in the under-20 100-meter hurdles. In 2019, she was the winner of the 60-meter hurdles and 100-meter hurdles at the Big 12 Championships when she competed at Iowa State. Now she is at Arizona State, where she placed fourth in the Championships at the Peak meet in the 60-meter hurdles.

Erin Marsh - Duke - Senior

A talented and versatile performer, Erin Marsh registered a second place finishes in the 60-meter hurdles and high jump at the ACC indoor championship meet. She also placed fourth in the long jump. Last year she won the pentathlon at the ACC indoor championships. In 2019 she placed second in the heptathlon during the ACC outdoor championships. During the indoor season she placed second in the ACC in high jump.

Deja Hudson - Fresno State - Freshman

Deja Hudson had a solid indoor season. She earned her first collegiate win as part of the 1,760-yard relay at the Air Force Collegiate Open. Her team finished second in that event at the Championships at the Peak meet. She also helped Fresno State get a second place finish in the 400-meter relay at the Central California Invitational.

Mi'Angel Daniels - Kent State - Senior

Mi'Angel Daniels is the top hurdler at Kent State. She placed fourth at this year's Mid American Conference indoor championship meet in the 60-meter hurdlers. Daniels was fifth in the same event at the indoor conference meet in 2019. She earned a win this year at the Kent State Doug Raymond Invitational in the 60-meter hurdles.

Zhane Smith - Texas A&M - Junior

Known as a jumper, Zhane Smith made a little noise as a sprinter as well during the indoor season. She grabbed a 60-meter dash win at the Aggie Invitational winning with a time of 7.39. She also placed second at the Ted Nelson Invitational. Smith's best long jump performance came in a second place finish at the Texas Tech Invitational where she hit a mark of 6.30.

Alexis Holmes - Kentucky - Junior

Alexis Holmes is one of the best 400-meter runners in the nation. She struggled with injury during the indoor season but she did get a couple of wins when she competed in her only meet, the McCravy-Green Invitational. She won in the 400 meters and 1,600-meter relay. During her collegiate career she has won the SEC and Big Ten 400 meters championships. She started her career in the Big Ten competing for Penn State.
