The Cowboys is a football team that is known for making a stricking come back. Tony Romo is the best quarterback in history. Romo signed a one hundred eight million dollar contract in 2013. Romo went undrafted in 2003 before signing with the Cowboys. Romo has led the Cowboys to five playoff appearances. Romo's contract was restructured by the Cowboys in April to convert sixteen million of his seventeen million 2015 base salary into a signing bonus. That move freed up the salary cap space for the Cowboys. The one hundred eight million dollar contract signed by Romo in 2013 was the biggest in the history of the franchise. The franchise quarterback has been to the Pro Bowl four times and holds numerous Cowboys records. Romo’s best playoff performance ever was after the 2014 regular season when the Cowboys were eliminated in the divisional round by the Green Bay Packers. He completed sixty eight percent of his passes with four touchdowns and no interceptions over two games. Romo is very popular with Corporate America. Some of his endorsement partners include DirecTV, Under Armour, Core Power and Pizza Hut. Starting the season Romo begin as a backup to starter Drew Bledsoe. He took his first regular season snap at quarterback in a home game against the Houston Texans on October 15. His first NFL pass was a 33-yard completion to wide receiver Sam Hurd. Romo led the Cowboys to victory in his first game as a starter, 35–14. Tony Romo decided to retire after a fifteen long year Cowboys career. Zack Martin is the best offensive guard player heading into this 2020 season. Zack Martin has been the most reliable and efficient member of the Cowboys since being drafted in 2014. The Cowboys have an awesome team. They are always rocking. Cowboys top world at $5.5 billion as one of the most valuable sports fanchise. More than half of 2020 top fifty teams worldwide come from the NFL. The Dallas Cowboys top the entire list for the fifth straight year. The Dallas Cowboys had their usual Thanksgiving game with precautions. They played a hard but good Thanksgiving day game; even though Washington came through in the fourth quarter. Covid 19 has affected many teams. It’s been a rought year for all sports. The people that are in charge of the Sports in general are all doing their best. They are trying to still have the games but also making sure it isn't too many people. I believe sports will get better because someone will find away to make games even safer. Here are a few Dallas Cowboy players.

Hello readers! I’m back with another article where I’ll pick the winner and final score of every NFL game on the schedule for week 14.

Week 13 of the 2020 NFL season is now officially in the books, and we are exactly three quarters of the way through the regular season. Last week, in my picks, I went 9-6. I’ll review the picks I got wrong here, before taking a look at the current playoff races in each conference and predicting the division winners and wildcard teams, then close with my pick for tonight’s Thursday night game. It’s a lot to cover, so let’s get started.

It has been a year of great uncertainty for all of us. The global pandemic that took control of the world in March brought a halt to many things we’ve always taken for granted, including… professional sports. The NBA season was suspended just a few weeks away from the start of the postseason; and would not resume play again until late in the month of July. Major league baseball delayed the start of their season until right about the same time that basketball started up again; and then nearly had to call off the season after several clubs reported outbreaks amongst ball players and other team personnel. There were many among us who wondered, and perhaps even doubted, if the National Football League would have a season at all in 2020.

College Football is unlike any other sport, from the pageantry of each school, to the way fans care about their favorite schools. Everyone remembers when Landon Collins committed to Alabama instead of LSU, but it’s remembered for the wrong reasons. His mom decided to make it known that she supported LSU more than her own son, no one knows why she did it though. College football even crowns it’s champion in a different way than any other sport. It uses a committee to vote it’s top 4 teams into a playoff, where those teams get to compete for the title National Champion. It is better than what the system used to be, where a computer determined who the top 2 teams in the Nation were, and those two played. If the National Champion is supposed to be the best team in the Nation that year, then they need to find a way to get more teams an opportunity to play in the championship game. I am going to present the argument for why this system needs to evolve even more than it already has, taking past teams, and even a team this season to explain why even the “little guys” should get a shot to prove they were the best that season.

Who Invented Football- The sport we all know as football is more properly called gridiron football. Football is closely related to two English sports rugby and soccer. Gridiron football originated at universities in North America. Football originated primarily in the United States in the late 19th century. On November 6, 1869, players from Princeton and Rutgers held the first intercollegiate. While a number of Northern colleges took up the sport in the 1870’s, Harvard decided to stick with the hybrid called the “Boston Game.” In May 1874 the Harvard players decided they preferred McGill’s University rugby style.

I’ve been an avid follower of the National Football League now for three decades (since 1990!) and one of my favorite pastimes has been predicting the winners of the games. I don’t take the Vegas point spreads into account when I do this; I simply pick the winner and the final score of each game. My success rate overall has been above average, between 60 and 70 percent, generally lower in the early weeks of the season but higher as November/December roll around and the playoffs loom on the horizon.

2020 has been an interesting year for College Football, from the SEC, ACC and BIG12 making sure their seasons got completed to the BIG10, PAC12 and MAC deciding they wanted in on the action. The latter conferences not starting early enough to have complete seasons, meaning any teams that had an issue with COVID, led to the game being cancelled, which hurts the conferences chances of crowning a proper champion, and hurting their shot at being a playoff team. These conferences inabilities to get a proper season put together makes it unfair for these kids who dream of being a National Champion and this is why the playoff needs expanded just for this crazy season. I’m not advocating for a NCAA Basketball tournament style expansion. You could have an expansion to say 8 to 12 teams based on the seasons end outcomes. In an 8 team playoff scenario, you would have the Power-5 championship teams plus 3 at large teams (if any group of 5 team is undefeated you could take the top 2 leaving one more spot for an at large group of 5). In a 12 team playoff scenario, you would have the Power-5 championship teams plus however many group of 5 undefeated teams are left (as of now there is potential for there to be 5 remaining) and you would have the remaining two spots for at large teams. 12 teams does feel like it would be a bit much, but there’s even a catchy name you can use for this… The Pandemic Playoff!

A change of pace is always a good thing. I have memories and stories of my life, and it’s weird writing about it now because I have children that are my age when I was a totally different person. But their lives have played out way different than mine did. The one common factor in all of our childhoods were love. Everyone was loved and loved in return. This story is about my love for the Philadelphia Football Eagles. I can’t remember when exactly I fell in love with them, some say that I was born with it, but I can remember when I began to hate the Dallas Cowboys.
James S. CarrPublished 3 years ago in UnbalancedTrask in the Glory
Kyle Trask is no stranger to being in someone's shadow, he's been in a few different quarterback's shadows. From D'Eriq King at Manvel high school, to Felipe Franks with the Gators. Trask would enter into games for Manvel after they would get up early and get an opportunity to play. Trask's problem at Manvel wasn't his ability, his head coach even refered to Trask as QB1B, while King was QB1A. King was just a better fit for Manvel's spread offense with his running ability and Trask was more of a pocket passer. Trask and King pushed each other every day while in highschool and while King gained all the "critical acclaim" Trask still got his opportunities to prove his worth in games, throwing 16 Touchdowns to 0 interceptions.
Nick ConditPublished 3 years ago in UnbalancedThankful for the Lions
The Lions on TV and Thanksgiving Day, it's a tradition that families across America have come to know across the years. As a football fan, I love watching all games, no matter the teams playing, and Thanksgiving day is no different for me. First, a little history into how the Lions started playing on Thanksgiving and why it's important. It all started in 1934 when then owner George Richards, who also owned a radio station affiliated with NBC Blue network, negotiated a contract to broadcast the teams games on Thanksgiving across 94 stations across the country. The Lions were playing second fiddle to the Detroit Tigers when it came to "sports notoriety" in that era so Richards chose to have his team play on Thanksgiving hoping to draw a bigger crowd to his team. Teams had played on Thanksgiving before, but because of his radio station he was able to get a day where the whole nation heard his football team, and only his team, it was a smash hit. The Lions not only sold out their stadium the first year that they played this game, they had to turn people away at the gate. It was a losing effort against the Chicago Bears, but it became a new team tradition.

As of 11/24/2020, the New York Jets are the first team officially eliminated from the postseason potential. While anyone in the football community is not surprised since the team is 0–10 at this point, is there maybe a glimmer of hope? As things stand the Jets are most likely the top pick in the 2021 draft, The questions becomes what will the franchise do? Let’s observe each side of the ball and see what needs we are looking for.
