Bold Declaration by Ravindra Jadeja

The Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja revealed that he wasn’t fretting over the reports being drifted about him in the cricket crew and that he is centered around doing great for India in the Asia Cup and the impending T20 World Cup.

During a question and answer session just before their second Group A match against Hong Kong in Dubai, Jadeja yielded that he knows about the new bits of gossip that is being coursed about him.

Besides, Ravindra Jadeja said the Indian players are centered around taking it each day in turn. He said the men in blue are excited about doing great in the T20 World Cup yet the emphasis is on the impending match against Hong Kong and afterward the Super 4s right now.

India will be guaranteed a spot in the Super 4s in the event that they beat Hong Kong on Wednesday. India has played the team two times in Asia Cup and won both the matches.

After the game, he was asked about handling pressure in challenging situation. He also opened up on MS Dhoni’s influence on him. Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir’s reaction has been doing the rounds on social media soon after MS Dhoni’s name was told.

Hardik Pandya brought the best out of himself with the ball. He accounted for three dismissals in his full quota of 4 overs, giving away only 25 runs.

He dismissed the likes of Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmed and Khusdil. Pandya drew plaudits for his incredible bowling performance.

India beat Pakistan by 5 wickets and kick-started their Asia Cup campaign on a grand note. The all-rounder scored 33 off 17 balls including 4 fours and a six.

“We only needed 7 off the last over but even if we needed 15, I’d have fancied myself. I know the bowler is under more pressure than me in the 20th over. I try to keep things simple,” he said after the match.

Manan Sharma was in the KKR squad in 2016 IPL but did not play any matches. He played for Delhi in Ranji Trophy and shared the dressing room with Ishant Sharma, Gautam Gambhir , Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant .

Manan was a part of the Indian U-19 team at the 2010 U-19 World Cup which included Mandeep Singh, KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Sandeep Sharma, and even the current captain of the United States men’s cricket team, Saurabh Netravalkar.

Manan took 4 wickets and scored 52 runs in 5 under 19 matches. He scored 1208 first-class runs in 35 games. In 26 T20 games he took 32 wickets and hit 131 runs.

Talking about the match, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul got India off to a flyer in London even after rain interruptions. However, the Mumbai lad Rohit Sharma missed out on his century and was dismissed for 83 runs.

But KL Rahul kept himself intact on the crease and finally reached his well-deserved century. Rahul ended the day's play with 127 runs off 248 deliveries and will resume day 2 with Ajinkya Rahane on the other side of him.
