MJF or Kenny Omega? Who Should Will Ospreay Face At All In
Who will be AEW Champion heading into All In?

Will Ospreay has punched his ticket to a title opportunity. After winning the Men's Owen Hart Cup, Ospreay is going to All In to challenge for the AEW World Championship.
It seemed like Ospreay was set to fight current World Champion MJF. However, things might change during this week's upcoming Dynamite.
MJF will defend his title against Kenny Omega. There's a lot of momentum on Omega's side and he's been part of Ospreay's comeback storyline. Both of these men will make great opponents for Ospreay, but the question is who will be Champion heading to Wembley Stadium?
Why MJF Should Remain Champion
There's no denying that MJF is one of AEW's top stars and an excellent heel. At 30-years-old, Friedman is already a three-time champion, having won his recent title at Double or Nothing back in May.
Although it seems unlikely that AEW would end MJF's reign so soon after winning, as see in the past many champions have had their reigns cut short. Plus, there's also the report that MJF is dealing with an injury.
The star hyperextended his knee during a recent match with RUSH. The injury doesn't seem to be severe and won't require MJF to take any time off, which is good news for fans who want to see him face Ospreay.
Since most matches usually have a heel versus babyface, one would assume MJF would be the likely opponent against the top babyface of Ospreay. Having Ospreay achieve his dream while knocking down AEW's biggest heel would make for an historic All In moment.
Why Kenny Omega Should Be Champion
Kenny Omega already has one AEW World Championship on his resume, but now he wants to reclaim his glory and become champ again. However, there's a huge stipulation in his and MJF's match. If Omega loses, he can never challenge for the AEW Championship again.
Omega's buddy "Hangman" Adam Page fell victim to this stipulation after losing to MJF at Revolution in March. It would seem far-fetched for this same situation to happen to Omega.
It's been four years since Omega's first title reign and he's long overdue for another run as AEW World Champion. But if Omega does beat MJF, he might be a transitional champion. There's only seven weeks left before All In, which means Omega's reign wouldn't be long if AEW follows the plan is for Ospreay to win at Wembley.
However, there's no denying that Omega vs Ospreay is a money match, one that deserves to headline All In.
Ospreay and Omega have a history that dates all the way back to their time in NJPW. Their epic rivalry, which began in January 2023 at Wrestle Kingdom 17, where Omega defeated Ospreay for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. Five months later Ospreay reclaimed the IWGP title by defeating Omega at AEW's Forbidden Door PPV.
Three years after their last bout, AEW has a chance to run it back with Omega and Ospreay's feud. Although Omega and Ospreay are rivals, the two have a huge amount of respect for each other. Omega has been a prominent part of Ospreay return storyline and his win in the Owen Hart Cup. Now, The Cleaner could stand in Ospreay's dream of winning the AEW World Championship in his hometown.
Omega and Ospreay would both be babyfaces heading into the bout and have the crowd split in who to root for. Do they cheer for hometown boy Ospreay, who worked his way back to the top following a neck injury? Or do they root for Omega, who finally has his moment back in the spotlight?
