Athing Mu, Texas A&M, 50.52, Feb. 6, 2021

This freshman has been unbeatable so far this season. She has posted wins in the 400 meters, 1,600-meter relay, 600 meters and 800 meters. Her 400 meters win came, at the Charlie Thomas Invitational, where she finished ahead of her teammate Charokee Young as well as Amber Anning of LSU and Stacey Ann Williams of LSU.

Charokee Young, Texas A&M, 51.93, Feb. 6, 2021

Sophomore Charokee Young ran a personal best time of 51.93 behind Athing Mu's blazing finish of 50.52. A week before that, she scored a win in the 400 meters at the Texas Tech Invitational at 52.64. Last year, she placed third in the 800 meters at the SEC Indoor Championships.

Talitha Diggs, Florida, 52.34, Feb. 5, 2021

Talitha Diggs scored a win in her first collegiate 400 meters race. The freshman won at the South Carolina Invitational ahead an experienced field of runners that included seniors, Taylor Manson of Florida, Stephanie Davis of South Carolina and Andrea Foster of Clemson.

Paris Peoples, Arkansas, 52.48, Jan. 29, 2021

A junior at Arkansas, Paris Peoples edged out USC senior transfer, Nicole Yeargin at the Razorback Invitational. On that day she ran her personal best at 52.48, which is currently second best in the SEC, behind Florida's Talitha Diggs. In 2019 she was on the national runner-up foursome of the NCAA outdoor 1,600-meter relay championship race.

Nicole Yeargin, USC, 52.51, Jan. 29, 2021

A champion sprinter for Kent State in the Mid American Conference, Nicole Yeargin has run her best time in the 400 meters as a member of the USC Trojans track team at the Razorback Invitational. Yeargin won 200-meter championships in the 2019 outdoor and indoor championships of the MAC conference.

Bailey Lear, USC, 52.55, Jan. 22, 2021

On Jan. 22, junior Bailey Lear's time of 52.55 beat out the likes of Texas ' Kennedy Simon and Arkansas' Morgan Burks Magee. Last year she won the MPSF indoor crown in the 400 meters. In 2019 she won a national title as a member of USC's 1,600-meter relay squad during the outdoor season.

Shae Anderson, UCLA, 52.67, Feb. 5, 2021

This UCLA junior outraced three Arkansas sprinters to clock a time of 52.67 at the Arkansas Qualifier. Shae Anderson bested Rosey Effong, Morgan Burks Magee and Shafiqua Maloney among other competitors. In 2018, Anderson was a national qualifier in the 400 meters during the indoor season.

Kennedy Simon, Texas, 52.67, Jan. 22, 2021

The defending 400 meters indoor champ of the Big 12, recorded her top time of the 2021 season at the Wooo Pig Classic which resulted in a second place finish. Simon has also won Big 12 titles in the 1,600-meter relay, last season as well as outdoor titles in the 400-meter and 1,600-meter relays.

Rosey Effiong, Arkansas, 52.80, Feb. 2021

Sophomore Rosey Effiong placed second in the 400 meters at the Arkansas Qualifier where she ran her personal best time. Effiong has shined this year on the Arkansas 1,600-meter relay squad. She has been a part of three wins in three attempts. That team's time of 3:30.80 is the best time in the NCAA.

Morgan Burks Magee, Arkansas, 52.81, Jan. 22, 2021

Senior Morgan Burks Magee ran her best time of the season in a third place finish at the Wooo Pig Classic. She earned a 400 meters win this year at the Arkansas Invitational on Jan. 16, with a time of 53.49. In 2019 she was on the third place squad o the 1,600-meter relay during the indoor national championship meet.
