Tyra Gittens, Texas A&M, 1.91, Jan. 29, 2021
The nation's number one high jumper is All-American Tyra Gittens. She jumped her personal best at the Texas Tech Invitational during the high jump portion of the pentathlon which she won on Jan. 29. Gittens the reigning pentathlon champ of the SEC.
Abigail O'Donoghue, LSU, 1.89, Jan. 22, 2021
LSU senior Abigail O'Donoghue made her best jump of 1.89 at the Wooo Pig Classic on Jan. 22. She was the runner-up of the SEC high jump during the indoor season last year.
Anna Hall, Georgia, 1.86, Jan. 15, 2021
Sophomore Anna Hall took home her first open championship on the collegiate level at the Clemson Invite, where she jumped a career best 1.86, Jan. 15. She later matched that height at the Razorback Invitational on Jan. 29, during the pentathlon competition.
Nissi Kabongo, Stephen F. Austin, 1.84, Jan. 21, 2021
Stephen F. Austin's Nissi Kabongo grabbed a win in the high jump at the Jaguar Invitational on Feb. 7. She jumped 1.74, that day. Her best jump of the season came when she placed second at the Air Force Invitational, with a mark of 1.84.
Taylor Beard, Cincinnati, 1.83, Jan. 29, 2021
After a winning jump of 1.79 at the McCravy Green Invitational in Kentucky, Taylor Beard topped that 14 days later with a first place mark of 1.83 at the H-Twn SpeedCity Series II meet, Jan. 29.
Morgan Smalls, USC, 1.82, Jan. 29, 2021
After placing fourth at the Wooo Pig Classic, Jan. 22, with a jump of 1.74, Morgan Smalls went on to collect her first collegiate win. The freshman went on to win the high jump at the Razorback Invitational at the height of 1.82.
Sanaa Barnes, Villanova, 1.82, Feb. 6, 2021
So far, Sanaa Barnes owns the best jump of the month. She hit 1.82 at the Army vs. Villanova meet on Feb. 6. Barnes has been dominant throughout her career. She is a two-time Big East high jump champion.
Shelby Tyler, Georgia, 1.81, Jan. 23, 2021
Last season, Shelby Tyler won at her first collegiate meet, when she took the high jump at the Clemson Orange & Purple Elite. That day she jumped a career best 1.82. On Jan. 23, she earned her second competition at the Carolina Challenge with a mark of 1.81.
Nyagoa Bayak, LSU, 1.80, Feb. 6, 2021
Nyagoa Bayak's top jump of 2021, placed her at second at the Charlie Thomas Invitational, Feb. 6, behind teammate Abigail O'Donoghue's mark of 1.83. Bayak's performance was her best since jumping 1.82, Feb. 14, 2020 at the Tyson Invitational.
Carly Haring, South Dakota, 1.80, Dec. 5, 2020
So far, Carly Haring is four-for-four winning in all of her meets this season. Her best jump was at the South Dakota State University Holiday Invite & Multi meet. She hit a mark of 1.80 on Dec. 5, 2020, which is her personal best.
Kameesha Smith, Illinois State, 1.80, Feb. 5, 2021
Senior Kameesha Smith is the defending Missouri Valley indoor high jump champion. She kicked off this season with a personal best and winning jump of 1.80 at the SIUC Don DeNoon Dual.
Rachel Glenn, South Carolina, 1.80, Jan. 16, 2021
Freshman Rachel Glenn started her collegiate career with a bang. She hit a mark of 1.80 at her home meet during the Gamecock Opener., Jan. 16. She followed that up as a runner-up at the Carolina Challenge, Jan. 23.
