David Warner Eyes in 2023 Ashes

Australia's opener David Warner said on Wednesday that he wants to overcome India in their own country and take the 2023 Ashes series in England before retiring from the game's longest format. Before leaving Test cricket, Australia opener David Warner hopes to win the Ashes in England in 2023 and win a series in India. In September, Warner, 35, bounced back after being dismissed by his IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad to earn Player of the Tournament during Australia's T20 World Cup victory in the UAE.

David Warner Score streak against India

With 240 runs at an accuracy of 60 in the current Ashes series, he is now in third place. Warner has nothing left to prove after 89 Tests and a decade at the top level, but the flamboyant lefthander still has a few things on his wish list. The detector has appeared in 13 and 8 Examinations, respectively, throughout three series in England and two in India. However, he has a poor record in both countries, balancing 26 and 24, respectively, without a hundred.

David Warner opinions following the match

When the Ashes tour to England comes along, the detector will have transformed into 37, but age is only a number for the left-handed opener. He stated that he thinks James Anderson sets the criterion for older males. He concludes that as we go about our days, we admire him. But it also has to do with performing to the best of my abilities and putting work on the board for him, and he had a great sense of being in touch. As he already stated, he is out of runs but not out of kindness, so perhaps he will add some more numbers to the scoreboard to embrace the new year. Warner states that We have yet to defeat India in India, and It would be good if we could do that. And unfortunately, we had a drawn series (against England in 2019), but maybe, if we get the chance and opportunity, we will consider it is coming back.

The exceptional performance of David Warner

At the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Australia won the Ashes series 3-0 in 2021-22. (MCG). In the current Ashes series against England, the dashing hitter is the third-best run-scorer with 240 runs at an average of 60 in four sessions. Despite Australia losing four of the five matches, Warner has performed 13 Tests in three England series and eight in two India tours. In both nations, the Australian received a score of 26 and 24. But, in the T20 World Cup 2021 and the first three Tests of this series, he hushed his detractors by playing superbly.

Age is just a number, According to David Warner.

As he stated that he does not regard his age as a barrier in today's world, Warner believes James Anderson is the gold standard for older men. As we go about our daily lives, we all look up to him. However, for him, it's all about giving it his all and putting runs on the board. Warner signed off that he looks like a good batsman in the first two Tests; it's almost as though he has played his career backward and had to buckle down and accept the bowling and the line and distances they were bowling. Unfortunately, the hundred escaped him; by the time the Ashes tour of England arrives, Warner will be 37 years old, but age is only a number for the left-handed batsman. He remarked that he thinks James Anderson is the standard for older males; he pointed towards him and said that we look up to him as we all go about our daily lives. However, for him, it's all about giving it his all and putting runs on the board. As he previously stated, He is in good shape, he was out of runs rather than form, so maybe he will put some more numbers on the board as the year progresses.
