Bring It On!

For the Maize and Blue

(This video was from 2016, but it brought up a good point.)

2018: A year to remember. For the beloved maize and blue of Michigan, it has been an astonishing year.

Although at the beginning of their season they lost to Notre Dame, since then they have won against some pretty poor teams who have lost more than usual. (For example, Nebraska who right now is 2-7, but at the time they were 0-5, and became 0-6 when losing.)

MSU vs. Michigan: One of the biggest games of both seasons. A state divided by maize and blue, with green and white. In some cases gotta choose one or the other, even if you go to another college, you will most likely choose one or the other.

Although MSU dropped a bit after losing to Northwestern, an unranked team, some people expected them to beat Michigan—especially since in the last five games, it was MSU that came out on top for four wins. Michigan only taking one win in the last five years.

Not to mention, what had happened with Notre Dame and them beating the Wolverines, it was doubtful that they would pull it off with another big game. But in the end, the Wolverines brought the Paul Bunyan trophy back to Ann Arbor.

#5 or is it 4? It has been a while since Michigan had made it up to the top 10, and held their ranking for weeks. As some people know, there has been several hype videos throughout the years that include all these different things going on.

It mentions all the wins that Michigan has had, which is now up to 952, give or take. It mentions all these different things. There is also one that shows that Michigan is back and supposedly better then ever.

Although they lost one game and it was at the beginning of the season, they have kept their position and fought to keep themselves in the position that they want.

With the playoffs coming up and teams trying to get where they want to be, it seems like everyone is trying to beat the top four teams. Right now, they include:

  1. The undefeated Alabama Crimson Tide,
  2. The Clemson Tigers,
  3. The Fighting Irish (Notre Dame), and
  4. The Wolverines (Michigan).

Nothing is set in stone right now since the season for Michigan still has two games—Illinois and Ohio State—but as far as most people know, nothing about the top four will change unless someone loses really badly.

However, Michigan is also one of the only schools who hasn't had any major thing involved in the sports teams, such as harassment or anything of that sort.

Of course, none of the top four has had any of these issues as far as most people know. Only time will tell as the playoffs and the bowls will pop up and even more stuff will happen as well.

As most believe, though, Michigan is going on a revenge tour, in football and basketball. In the past several years, Michigan went from not being ranked and at the bottom, to being one of the top four in the playoffs. Of course, if they beat Ohio State then the position will be sealed until the game against Alabama.

#1 and #4 on the ranking system will be able to go to head to head and see who will move on the championships. But only time will tell by the end of what some consider rivalry week.

Although in the last game, several of Michigan's team members were severely injured, they still came out with a bang. But with Ohio State, they were behind Maryland the entire time—until overtime happened, and they "blocked" the two-point conversion at the end of overtime.

And if you were watching Urban Myers, he was not happy—at all. He looked like he was going to get sick to his stomach several times. He was not happy at all with how the game went. Especially when Maryland would get a touchdown and get ahead of Ohio State.
