Saving money and establishing a savings nest can be difficult, but everyone can save. There are multiple ways to cut down on spending from minimizing your expenses to paying off debt and investing in stocks.

Even though most of us know the basics, it still takes time to track your expenses individually, ensure that your finances are healthy, and cut out any unnecessary costs. That's where money management apps come in. These apps can help with budgeting, tracking, and monitoring all of your accounts and expenses – making your life a whole lot easier.

Here are 4 of some of the best money management apps that'll help you establish substantial savings in no time.

1. ETmoney

This app is part of The Times Group, and the full name of the app is Economic times money. While it'll help you track your daily expenses, it'll also sort each expense into various categories such as entertainment, shopping, travel, etc. Click on the category, and you'll be able to see a more detailed breakdown.

For those that like to visualize their expenses, you'll like ETmoney as it sends your weekly expenditure in the form of graphs. For those currently dabbling in investments, ETmoney will also provide you with information about market research, including current market trends, fund performance, and more. If you'd like, you can also invest directly in funds with this app.

2. Robinhood

Another great app is Robinhood. This app aims to make investing more accessible to everyone by offering a commission-free investment. Stocks, funds, and even purchasing cryptocurrencies are all exempt from fees when you download the Robinhood app.

If you're not familiar with investments, the app also provides learning resources to help you make more informed decisions. To access these resources, however, you'd need to pay for the app, but as a bonus, you'll get free stock. If you're not keen on investing through an app, you can take a look at investing in active exchange-traded funds (ETFs). ETFs are great because they focus on a variety of investment strategies and can thus offer a greater level of diversification and reduce overall market risk.

3. Stash

For a money management app with everything you need, Stash is a great place to get started. Through the app, you can invest, save, and even learn. One of Stash's unique features is its stock-back reward system that allows you to earn stocks and funds when you make purchases with the Stash card.

Opening an investment account also doesn't cost much – only $5, and is a great place to test the waters and be introduced to the investing world. You'll have to pay for the app depending on what features you need, but it's not expensive. Just a monthly cost of $1, and you'll already have access to the app’s basic features.

4. Truebill

If you've always wanted an app that'll help reduce your utility bills, look no further than Truebill. Instead of having to call up utility companies and negotiate for a better rate on your own, Truebill will do the work for you. Even though you'd still have to take pictures of all of your bills and upload them, you'll be reaping the rewards in the long-run.

The app can even help with monitoring everything that you've subscribed to thus far, and give you the option to unsubscribe automatically. While there is a cost to the service – especially the negotiation services, the basic tracking features are free.

Start early

Whether you're saving for retirement, a dream vacation, a new car, it always helps to start soon. Even if you're saving some of your loose change or reducing some dollars off your expenses, it can all add up in the long-run. By using some of these apps, you'll be better equipped to manage your personal finances and feel more comfortable about your overall financial health.
