Making Sense Of The AFC West
It would be the most aggressive of understatements to suggest the 2022 offseason has been phenomenal. It seems, since the moment that blue and yellow confetti dropped, there has been a fascinating development by the hour. The extension of Aaron Rodgers, tagged alongside the departure of Davante Adams, the release of Julio Jones, or Jacksonville’s spending spree. It seems we’ve had an offseason for the ages and, certainly, one which I dread we may never forget. Amongst this drama, thankfully not so much filtered through the return of Brady or Big Ben’s retirement, comes the AFC West. In my opinion, above all else, this story has been the most fascinating to see unfold as we witness a true arms race for the division – and potentially the conference. But let’s take a deeper look into it, and truly document the insanity of this division’s invasion of superstars.

Attend a Senior PGA Golf Tournment
When we retired, knowing we would be living on a restricted income we canceled DISH TV thinking we would not miss it. To our horror, especially my husband’s, only segments of each week’s golf tournaments could be seen with local channels. We missed the extensive commentaries, the backstories, and the personal accounts from the players. We agreed to adjust a budget to include DISH TV and haven’t regretted it once until we noticed the permanent indentation from our butts on the sofa.

Photo by Erik Drost I don’t really know how the criminal justice system works, and Deshaun Watson getting a pass, we are left to bring sense to the disorder and render our own verdicts. Our starting point is Houston Prosecutor Johna Stallings, and despite his lawyerly, measured response, he’s just as in the dark as the rest of us.
Rich MonettiPublished 2 years ago in UnbalancedClassic Movie Review: 'Bull Durham' is the Greatest Baseball Movie of All Time
Bull Durham is the best baseball movie ever made, bar none. You can have your Field of Dreams or your A League of their Own or The Babe Ruth Story, for those of you with terrible taste, but for me, there is no contest, Bull Durham is THE BEST. Funny, smart, romantic, sexy and quotable, Bull Durham goes even beyond baseball and into the realm of simply being a great movie.

Winners OnlyPublished 2 years ago in UnbalancedStand Back! The Hurricanes Are Coming Through!
Hard to believe that it's been 25 years since the Hartford Whalers moved from Connecticut to Raleigh, North Carolina and became the Carolina Hurricanes. The Whalers' relocation to Raleigh made them the 3rd straight team to move, following the footsteps of the Quebec Nordiques in 1995 (becoming the Colorado Avalanche) and the original Winnipeg Jets in 1996 (becoming the Phoenix Coyotes). In the quarter-century they've played in Raleigh, the Carolina Hurricanes have enjoyed a level of success that they never had in Hartford, which included two trips to the Stanley Cup Final in 2002 and 2006, with the latter year seeing them hoist the Cup.
