History is a great maze; It is a vicious “spring-like” rings of the structure, which proceed in a fixed and supportive system, indefinitely. Accordingly, the events and situations of history are repeated in the same form and content, although the difference is the contrast of eras and times. Since each era has its own priorities and circumstances, the order of events varies. But in the end, the result is the same without any difference.

With an objective look at the first and second world wars, we find that the parties to the conflict are divided according to an understandable approach, defined by the beginning that everyone thinks of as a local conflict, but it quickly turns into a major global war that changes the determinants of the time period that follows; Because it affects all countries of the world without exception, even neutral ones. Perhaps the Russian-Ukrainian war is the best example of modern times.

The Ukrainian-Russian War broke out on February 24, 2022 for severe domestic reasons; Ukraine is trying to ride the wave by joining the camp of the West; To get its share of modernity and alliances. While Russia is trying to defend its territorial integrity and national security; It is not satisfied with the presence of non-ally countries in the depth of its territory - which is not geographically protected - pointing the warheads of NATO missiles at them. Given Ukraine's geographical situation, its borders overlap the Russian depth, as well as Russia's only outlet to the ports of warm waters. Accordingly, Russia considered integration and cooperation with the newly independent Republic of Ukraine as inevitable, and otherwise considered a threat to national security. It is noted that the demands of both countries are legitimate, but the implementation generates huge disasters.

What is similar today to yesterday, when reconsidering what happened nearly a hundred years ago, specifically on June 28, 1914, when Archduke Franz Ferdinand, Crown Prince of Austria, was killed when he visited Sarajevo, and his killing was the cause of the outbreak of the First World War, although his visit was friendly and that he himself was not unlike his predecessors in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, but was willing to reform the political life of the crumbling empire. Likewise, the killer who belonged to the "Black Hand" group was defending his "Serbian" nationalism and wishing for its independence. And that severe local incident was never a justification for the division of the world into two antagonistic camps, which forced the entire world to undergo the ravages of a fierce war. The real reason for the outbreak of that great war was almost premeditated; The intrusive parties to the conflict seek to overthrow the crumbling Ottoman Empire, which was dubbed the “sick man of Europe.”

And what happened to the global formation at the beginning of the third millennium became completely unsatisfactory for the parties that culminated in victory in advance about a hundred years ago. The entire western camp is too worn out; Where the mite gnaws in his bones of economic weakness and exacerbation of internal problems. At the same time, China has imposed itself on the international scene as a striking and very stable economic power, with the neck of the most powerful economies in the world in its hand. Whereas, the Russian bear began to stand on his feet with solid strength after overcoming the ordeal of the disintegration of his republics that left him suffering from poverty and corruption.

In addition, he was able to ride the high-tech train again after recovering his repression, and began a new phase of a cold war that would deal painful blows to the entire Western camp in the two most important fields of power in the modern era; The two are: energy and technology.

But the Western camp did not wait for the Russian bear to destroy its morale again by technological superiority, as happened during the first Cold War, during which Russia rose technologically because of its share of the legacy of defeated Germany. After that, it dealt painful blows to its American opponent by developing many intercontinental and nuclear missiles, then launching the first satellite, followed by the ascent and landing of space several times. Meanwhile, the American side was trying to catch up with them by various means until it gained supremacy after the end of the Cold War with the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

Apart from the economic sanctions whose consequences can be overcome later on, the most truly painful sanctions were the withdrawal of foreign companies, especially American ones, working in the technological field from Russia, which recently showed a strong superiority that appeared in Russian piracy over the most powerful American companies and facilities. The technological blockade of Russia would deny it access to the highly sophisticated and sophisticated electronic chips that only the United States manufactures. With the suspension of the import of these chips, Russia will not be able to complete its new highly advanced defense system, and this will be reflected in the rest of its technological life, especially in the field of space research, given that Russia has used its cooperation with the West in this field as a weapon; to stop their pressure on her.

As for the energy weapon that Russia also uses, it has become obsolete; Europe is ready to stop using fossil energy by 2030. The Climate Summit was an implicit indication of that. New energy sources are also based on technological development. Hence, it will be the West's new weapon to deal painful blows to all the emerging powers that threaten its existence. A well-established China will not easily be able to keep pace with the energy substitution dependencies in the short term. As for the oil-exporting Gulf countries, despite their recent success in diversifying their sources of income, oil is still the mainstay of economic activity. And the opposition of the Gulf states to the plans of the West, which it did not support recently, was met with Germany's statement of its plan to rely on alternative energy sources by 2027.

Technological supremacy and clean energy sources are a modern weapon that the West has already begun to use against the emerging powers that have recently weakened its hegemony. Considering the short-term losses incurred by the West to bring about this boom, a fatal mistake; The results are his goal, and perhaps the gains that emerged from the first and second world wars are the best witness and evidence.

The world is currently witnessing drastic changes that use the media machine as an iron curtain to hide cunning long-term goals, which are like a billiard ball capable of dropping all forces that obstruct its course in a deep pouch that is difficult to get out of.
