Corruption in Governemt

What we have seen from the past year and a half during this Pandemic is a deterioration of governmental responses to felicitate the general public's ability to survive the onslaught of reoccurring financial and medical losses. It was in May of 2020 that many in congress were in accord to implement financial aid to millions of Americans on a monthly basis for the duration of the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, after almost two years the Biden Administration and congress have done a complete turnaround leaving millions of Americans struggling not only with the resurgence of Covid-19 infections but the inflationary trend on every consumable. The result is putting the economy in grave jeopardy.

Contrary to what the present Administration is saying the US economy is far from being stable. When major corporations are making record breaking profits, the most in history this is not inflation it is price gouging. Yet, there has been no movement in our government to address what is a travesty being played on the American public. To make matters worse former President Trump has continued to create a polarization that is threatening the very core of our democracy.

The American public has now become splintered in ways that have only exasperated the growing divides in our nation today. The realities facing the United States internally have been profound. The governmental responses to the pandemic that include the CDC, the media, and the pharmaceutical industry have also led to the greatest medial fiasco the US has seen.

When the American Rescue Plan went into effect many were hopeful that just maybe things would become better. And, that our government has responded to the many needs of Americans. Today, the failure of both congress and the Biden Administration has proven they care not for the public's interests but more for the profitability that the Covid-19 pandemic brings.

The Covid-19 pandemic has only heightened the enormous nightmare that millions are facing. The rise of homelessness, foreclosures, gun violence, and inequality have all been increasing every year. The government has failed to realize that many of the ills in our society including their responses to the Covid-19 pandemic have been pathetic. They continue to be unresponsive, to the real solutions that would eliminate many of the urgent crisis millions face each day.

With international tensions heading toward a boiling point just adds to the dilemma facing our government. They still can't seem to figure a way to ease the international and domestic crisis that are now threatening the financial and economic core of our nation. Meanwhile the Biden Administration is conveniently silent about easing the financial strain that so many Americans now are facing. When the first rescue plan went into effect those direct stimulus payments played a major role in easing the financial struggles of families all across the country. Now, those direct payment have been wiped out due to the rising inflationary trends we are currently facing.

For seniors that are now expecting cost of living increases, those increases will be wiped out by the increase in Medicare. And compound that with food, and medical expenditures millions of seniors are facing very tough time ahead. When over 80% of the voting population need and support what was a target for Congress back a year and a half ago of reoccurring direct payments on a monthly basis Congress again drops the ball.

When the Child Tax Credit expired this past December millions will now be thrown back into a financial crisis that too many will never be able to get out of. Still, Congress and the Administration are nowhere to be found. Now, with the pandemic reaching epidemic proportions it is clear that the reactions by congress and the Biden Administration have proved futile in their attempts or should we say bungling to stabilize the economy and curb the rising Covid-19 infections.

What is needed ifs for the American public to realize that our government really doesn't work for the American citizen. We the people employ the government. Many economists realize that direct cash payments to all that are under the $130,000 income bracket of $2000 on a monthly basis for the next year is needed now. When some congressmen tried to pass a similar proposal a year and a half ago and failed, we ended up to where we are today. A nation so divided so immersed in a quandary of financial distress and failed responses to curb this Covid-19 pandemic.

It is a sad commentary today when we have the ability to ease the suffering of millions our government is oblivious to the plight to which our government thrust them into to begin with. The pandemic responses are ripe with corruption form the CDC, government the media and many of the medical establishment. They along with the pharmaceutical industry have all joined in on the financial windfall that has been allowed to unleash devastating consequences upon not only millions of Americans but millions all around the world.
