I smell a rat festering today in our American media - it's a sickly sweet, pungent funk with a reek that jolts the gut. The air of the media ether is thick like caramel-not fluid; like the good ol'days when spin was sly emphasis versus blatant propaganda. Our media viscosity no longer clear and viscous, but dark and cloudy like day old coffee.

I continually hear this incessant rant by American media hour by hour teaming to disparage or create a never ending narrative of buffoonery of any Republican candidate successful or nominee unsuccessful. The incessant, childlike need to assassinate character of our newly elected at every opportunity. This grade school ploy to ostracize and lambaste, isolate and divide is very reminiscent of summer camp for the first time—you remember...the unescapable mini mob of pubescent days gone past, the dreaded bullies and band of buffoonists.

And unfortunately, it seems Donald Trump sickens the stomach of many of those not-so-happy campers, like the rich kid who shows up in the shiny Corvette in high school. I have witnessed this behavior before en masse. I have wisdom by default, I am old and have been around for half a century; it's the classic "hate the rich kid" phenomenon and I am sure it stings even more when the rich kid takes home the prize at the end of camp—that big giant trophy everybody dreamt about. And so just like those unhappy campers, our disenchanted Liberal America is hating our extremely accomplished billionaire turned President of the United States Donald Trump. And let's not forget the fabulously beautiful wife and family and millions of adoring fans...it is simply salt rubbed into the wound. I am a very alert writer for nuance and I am also an "empath" (I can sense people's feelings) and this sense I get today in our highly polarized over charged super divisive atmosphere has never been more blatant and obvious to me than today...ever.

I am seeing desperation on a scale I could never imagine, like... a girl jealous of a prom dress or the envy of the new kid at school with the brand new car—the one you keyed way back when... "just because" and purely for spite.

Today's Democrats, Liberals, Alt-left are becoming reminiscent of the poor alcoholic woman drunk and crying in her beer at the bar..."cause the future's fading fast" and "come lately johnny" ain't comin' no more and is gone for good. Envy, spite and jealousy the three ingredients needed to create desperation en masse and the pressure cooker of angst resulting from it boils over daily. I can see, smell and feel the Democrats, Liberals, All-left in their death throes—it has not even been a year complete and the entire segment of "my way or else" people are imploding, turning on each other and fragmenting. And the Republican side is taking traction; there is optimism again, jobs are up, the stock market trim and level and diverse unions of people are coming together and finding common ground, attendance to religion is on the rise and love for country at an all time high. The Republican Party is already charged up and funded for the next election while the Democrats are still doggedly expecting an:

...impeachment that's never coming; ...a Russia scandal that never happened; ...an FBI revelation that doesn't exist and a Democratic presidency that will most likely never occur again. Any would-be Democrat dollars for the upcoming election have been spent on:

black masks, magic markers, poster board and bail money "back to school" shoes and weed.

Democrats, Libs, Alts are free falling like a terminal cancer patient set on fire without a parachute. It seems when the chips are down people tend to try and take someone down with them...its what the desperate, drowning and dying always seem to do.
