Horrific news coming out of Ukraine, as another mass grave is discovered, continues to escalate. The latest mass grave found, situated near Buzova, is reported to hold dozens of civilian Ukrainian bodies.

"Just one week after footage showed bodies strewn on the streets of Bucha, a mass grave was found in Buzova, just half an hour away," The Brussels Times reports via Twitter.

A local Ukrainian media outlet, with approximately thirty bodies found near Buzova, reported in early April a similar find. Alexander Khrebet, ZN.UA 's international desk editor, referenced increased atrocities in a tweet today.

"According to our journalists on the ground," tweeted Julien Pain, "there is no mass grave in Buzova."

It's becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate truth from fiction. Questions must be asked.

  • What is the truth?
  • Is staging such an atrocity possible?
  • Has evidence been manufactured to support a particular narrative?

Question everything. Russian forces, if the latest news is proven true, will never find absolution. The invasion has taken a heavy toll on Ukrainians everywhere.

"A grave with at least two civilian bodies has been found in Buzova village near #Kyiv, a Ukrainian official said, the latest reported grave discovered after Russian forces withdrew from areas north of the capital to focus their assault on the east," tweeted Kayhan Life.

Buzova, a small village in the Kyiv Oblast, is home to approximately 1,550 residents. It is not yet clear how many villagers have survived. The body total Iryna Venediktova spoke of during the Sky News interview, 1,222 dead people, might not be specifically relate to the village.

“We have actually now, only for this morning, 1,222 dead people only in Kyiv region,” Venediktova, Prosecutor General of Ukraine, said.

Taras Didych, head of the Dmytrivka community, revealed in an interview on Ukrainian television that the bodies were discovered in a ditch near a Buzova petrol station. The total number of bodies found has not yet been confirmed.

"Now, we are returning to life," Didych said, "but during the occupation we had our 'hotspots', many civilians died."

The Kyiv offensive, during the initial weeks of Russia's invasion, saw significant troop movements in and around the region. Communities, inclusive of Makariv, Bucha, Irpin, and Dmytrivka, have been constantly under bombardment. The horrors of war are undeniable.

"A new grave with dozens of civilian #Ukrainians was found on Saturday in Buzova, a liberated village near the capital Kyiv that for weeks was occupied by Russian forces, a local official says," tweeted Al Arabiya English .

Devastation is everywhere. Russian forces have been relentless. Much of the region, both towns and villages, has been retaken by Ukrainian forces. Bucha, situated northwest of the capital, has been hard hit.

The Ukrainian Struggle Centre tweeted "Russian troops destroyed many settlements in the #Kyiv region. In the video, #AZOV co-commander Maxim Zhorin shows the consequences of #Putin's attack in the village of #Buzova. Here the Russians turned the children's camp into ashes."

Bucha, sparking international outrage, has suffered since the invasion began. City workers and policeman, after the Bucha grave was discovered, could be seen attending to the dead bodies.

Ukrainian officials, on Tuesday, 5 April 2022, reported more than 400 civilian bodies had been recovered from the Kyiv Oblast region. Civilian casualties, triggering a wave of international backlash, have been numerous.
