We told you so! When Trump returned to the political campaign trails (though he never left), every anti-Trump voters shouted the dangers of his return to the oval office. We tried to educate as many people about the mastermind think tank from the Heritage Foundation and their 900-page manifesto titled Project 2025. Though Trump’s campaign website displayed a one-page of roughly 14 to 15 bullet points with a tiny link to a page sharing the fine print of his alleged policies (the site is no longer active), one-third of the country continued to vote for him. Honestly, how does one vote for a man convicted of sexual assault, touting about people eating cats and dogs? Meanwhile, Kamala Harris’s highlighted many details to improve Americans’ lives, from tax breaks for new homeowners to lowering the cost of everyday needs (groceries, healthcare, and more). Despite the efforts, one-third of our country opted to not vote, thrusting Americans into economic chaos, entangled in a pointless war, and a constant everyday fight for basic human rights. Now what?

America sits on the precipice of nose diving into a full-blown fascist authoritarian government. The Trump regime currently grips our Supreme court in one hand and clutches power over Congress in the other. Carefully curated judges sit in favor of Trump and his policies to strip human rights from anyone deemed “immigrant.” Oh, I mean, anyone with melanated skin. under his influences, voters packed Congress with Trump loyalist aligning legislative policies that funnel power to the executive branch. The end goal: transform the country into a white Christian authoritarian nation. Nearly every signed executive order from Trump remains unchallenged by Congress or SCOTUS, forcing states’ federal courts to step up and become our saviors. The Trump Regime creates solutions for non-existing problems which strip rights from others. For example, Executive Order 14202 the “Eradicating Anti-Christian Bias” signed on February 6 2025. Simply putthe order directs the executive branch to look for cases in which federal agencies may have unlawfully discriminated against Christians or Christian organizations because of their religion or religiously motivated conduct. A solution to a problem that NEVER existed. Consider how some states push enacted legislation to empower Christianity by forcing the ten commandments on display in every public school classroom. No, an attack on Christianity never existed, however, Muslims continue to become a target under this current administration.

The Regime’s current effort to keep their claws clutching political power focuses on every Americans’s right to vote. The constitution contains of roughly seven amendments guaranteeing the right to vote to all US citizens. Trump’s administration began this voting war by forcing the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) act to pass. The SAVE act goal was for every American to provide documentation of citizenship for eligibility to register to vote. These documents include (but not limited to) U.S. passport, a real-ID, government issued ID, birth certificate, etc. The obstacle for many Americans to obtain these documents is money. For a passport alone, a person needs to pay close to, or more than, $150. Furthermore, most Americans no longer have a copy of their birth certificate. To obtain one, Americans need to pay for a copy (prices vary by state). What about married women? Their legal married name no longer matches their birth name. Fortunately, the SAVE act failed to pass, however the Trump Regime shifted its gaze on mail-in ballots.

Trump attempted to stop mail-in ballots (though he votes by mail in Florida elections). In March, he tried to create a federal registry for voting to track who has eligibility to vote. Then, in August, he attempted to put the burden on the United States Postal Service and restrict which envelops are acceptable for voting. However, several judges spoke out against the attempt and for now, mail-in voting remains acceptable. Of course, there are states where gerrymandering restricts voting for many Americans.

It is up to the people in those states to band together and find a way to make every vote count. Republicans and the Trump Regime already fear the inevitable approach as many polls point to Congress falling into democrat control. House speaker Johnson and several others warn, should Congress fall under the democrats there will be massive investigations into Trump and his Regime. Now, why would any American want THAT to happen?

The need to investigate the Trump Regime could fall under illegal deporting of US Citizens and protected immigrants without due process. Or perhaps it could be from the millions Trump’s family and business partners made from flipping the stock market. What about the many attacks on marginalize communities? Could the endless war with Iran merit some investigation? Who is profiting from sending American troops to war? The questions rise increasingly every day.

What you can do?

Confirm your voter registration. Check your state’s office of election’s website. Some sites already exist to steal your information and may compromise your vote, which I am not going to post here to keep traffic from flowing towards those sites. If you reside in a state with mail-in voting, vote as early as possible. Drop your ballot off at the elections office’s drop-box, if possible. This ensures your vote arrives and counted. We must prevent any reason for the regime to deny the results because that’s their playbook.

The Regime plans other means to stop the election, but for now, we must collectively focus on changing Congress and fill the seats with representative and senators committed to protecting our constitution. Like many others, I have faith in our people. I know we will make the right choice to end the advancement of the Regime together and move towards a brighter America. It begins with you.
