Michigan in the Middle

Reuters published a fact check entitled, "Fact check: Table shows outdated voter registration numbers for eight key states on voter registration numbers" to their website on 11/05/2020. Supposedly, as they say...

#1 - “The number shown at time of publication is 8,127,804.”

MY FACT CHECK: Following their own “here” link to Mich.gov site that they offer in the article as a reference, as of 10/2020, Michigan voter registration only totaled 7,568,494.

That’s a difference of roughly 500k.

#2 - “Michigan allows same day voter registration.”

MY FACT CHECK: Sec of State Benson reported that just under 19,000 voters registered same day.

That’s still a difference of about 420k.

#3 - “Voter turnout is projected to be 53-55%.”

MY FACT CHECK: As projected, at most, 55% of the 8,127,804 which they claim was the total number of registered voters (unverified) is still only 4,470,292.

I’ll even add in the extra same day registrations of 19k with an extra 1k margin for a rough total of 4,490,292.

Total number of votes supposedly cast was 5,549,348. That equates to 68% voter turnout.

The math just doesn’t add up. 2+2 does not equal 10.

Moreover, Sec of State Benson stood at a podium and explained to the public that media outlets were receiving unofficial results at the local and county level BEFORE the State Department, which is supposed to be updated every 10 minutes.

Keep in mind, this is the same woman who had just petitioned the courts to ban the right to open carry of guns in polling placing and her request was denied.

Videos of people online have surfaced showing the windows to counting facilities being covered. There are also several videos of election challengers stating they were unable to challenge a ballot that could not be verified and it was counted anyways.

Michigan is also a state with a democratic Governor who was recently found in Supreme Court to be unconstitutional in her single-handed issuance of hundreds of executive orders across the state.

In Detroit, mayor Mike Duggan is also a Democrat, and he shut down the city so his employees could specifically aid in the counting process. In other areas, there are reports of system glitch's and software malfunctions in the counting process.

Long BEFORE this election even took place, I suggested fraud prevention steps to both of the candidates, openly, on social media. I am not surprised at all that this is happening now. I am, however, very interested in seeing how it all plays out.

BOTH sides, in my eyes, have a duty and obligation to ALL the people of this nation to act lawfully with the highest integrity to provide truth, transparency, and at least attempt to establish trust and loyalty with the citizens that they aspire to lead.

If Biden won fair and square, then he should favor and welcome a recount. If Trump is full of false claims, then why don't the numbers add up? This type of situation is not unique to Michigan, either. There so many different variations of fraud, corruption and questionable math spread out all across the nation in several states.

Our country is crumbling, apparently, no matter what kind of cookie you prefer. I sure hope we can clean up the mess we make.
