Jeremy Corbyn: Condemns All Violence.

Need to Look at Why Hamas Attacked.

Former Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn Portrayed as a Saint.

Why did Hamas launch its deadliest ever on Israel? We are used to small- scale flare-ups between the Jewish State and Gaza. However, what has caused Hamas to launch the largest deadly assault on Israel?

Well, many reasons, it would seem. Hamas is under pressure from groups like Islamic Jihad. They are coming up behind Hamas and think they can do a better job in government and in handling Israel. Some say it was a coordinated plan, cooked up by Iran, and even Russia. Hamas itself, says, "Enough is enough". It can no longer sit idly by while Israel kills Palestinians, ravages Palestinian cultural and holy sites, mass settlements on the West Bank, mass detainments of Palestinians, etc. Whatever, caused this Hamas operation it was well planned and organised. Attacks came from land, sea, and air.

An army base was captured, hostages were taken, Israeli vehicles were driven back to Gaza, and 600 Israelis were dead and many wounded. 5,000 rockets were launched into Israel causing damage, death, and destruction. Israel retaliated in a merciless bombing of Gaza. Hitting, so it said, Hamas targets, which unfortunately hit civilian areas as well. IDF forces are still battling Hamas forces in Israel. The situation is grim, in the truest meaning, of the word. Netanyahu leads the most right-wing Israeli government in the history of the country. Netanyahu said Hamas would pay dear, for its incursion, into Israel. And by all accounts that is exactly what is happening. Israel knows no one is coming to save Gaza and knows it has cart-blanche leeway to defend itself. The US has sent a fleet of warships to the Med. And it says it will aid Israel, in any way, it can.

Hezbollah in solidarity with Hamas, has fired rockets, into Israel. Israel hit back attacking targets, in Lebanon. Another reason, Iran might have got Hamas to launch this massive assault is because Israel and KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) making peace does not go well with its interests. Nor do the 'Abraham Accords' where Israel made friends with other Arab states.

Palestinians and their plight is being forgotten or at least left on the backburner, by their traditional Arab Allies. Saying that though countries like the UAE (United Arab Emirates) still donate to Hamas. The Hamas leadership is based in Doha, Qatar.

Israel is lining up troops and equipment along the border with Gaza. Will it plan and enforce, and enact, a ground assault with limited goals? Or will it, go all the way, to Gaza City and depose and overthrow the Hamas- government once and for all?

Certainly, that might be the goal, but then Israel would be responsible for Gazan civilians. Would it want that responsibility?

Jeremy Corbyn speaking at an event in Liverpool alongside the official Labour Party Conference said he condemned all violence. No matter, where it was happening in the world. Mr. Corbyn said that as long as Israel occupies Palestinian territory, there will, always be flair-ups. The underlying causes of the conflict should be addressed. Mr. Corbyn received a round of applause from his followers. When Corbyn was in charge of Labour, Palestinian flags, were to be seen, at Labour Party Conferences. Now that Sir Keir is the leader you will not see that, Sir Keir is an open supporter of Israel. Mrs. Starmer is married to a Jewish woman and Sir Keir has a good relationship with the Jewish community.

Sir Keir, threw Corbyn, out of the Labour Party for alleged anti-Jewishness. Many Jews did not feel comfortable with Corbyn as leader. Some said they were openly bullied and were forced out or fled the Labour Party. Rachel Reeves said Corbyn will never be allowed back into the party.

Whatever stance, you take on this issue, of Israel-Palestine, be it politically, religiously or both, there has been and there will be a tremendous loss of life on both sides. And peace, usually brought in by Egypt's intervention, may not be as clear cut, this time.
