It's Not Our Fault, and It Never Is....

Blame Someone Else

Who? Me? Nah....

Another day, another excuse. This is the ongoing trend regarding the current SNP administration.

The new Queensferry crossing, a bridge too far, has become the latest in a long line of dismal failures from this decaying, glorified regional council. It's not difficult to see what was blowing through their minds when the late/early opening of the new "super bridge."

Having lost several "big hitters" to the evil of the Scottish Conservative party in last year's Scottish election, and being openly ridiculed on a number of other flagship policies, including the dreaded "Named Person" nonsense, they needed some good publicity. So the "greatest bridge in the world" being opened by the Queen, would be ideal.

Unfortunately, this also turned into a fiasco of fairly large proportions. The parade of SNP Sporran Legion troops were dressed in full "White Cockade" regalia, long bedraggled hair, long bedraggled kilts, ankle socks and hiking boots, trendily untied and loose of lace. Tattered Saltire flags mixed with the yellow flags of the SNP administration, was a complete and utter embarrassment to Scotland and the wider world.

What the Queen thought of this circus, I don't know, but as the majority of SNP followers and the hierarchy dislike the monarchy with a passion, I'm sure she was able to express herself in private, unlike the SNP rabble, who act like football supporters on LSD.

The fact that the "wonder bridge" is now partially closed for "snagging work" is proof, if proof was needed to show that it had been opened while unsafe for public use. I did wonder about the initial 40mph speed limit on this modern wonder of the world. Now we know why. It needed immediate and serious repair work.

Back at SNP central, the spinning machine has been in overdrive, trying to keep stories of sexual impropriety, bridges and general incompetence off the front pages and lead news stories of a hostile media.

They, the SNP, believe that they are being unfairly treated by news organisations. This is why they brought out their own daily tabloid, The National. This is something to behold. A newspaper without any proper checks or balance. It is simply a propaganda rag, only to promote and praise the SNP, and in particular, the great leader, Ms. Ironpants, Nicola Sturgeon.

According to The National, she cannot do wrong and therefore cannot be criticised in any way. No matter the blunder, not a negative word can be allowed to be spoken. This isn't very democratic in a party which prides itself on fairness, justice and truth!

Democracy is an elusive wee thing in SNP circles. It does pop its furry head out when it's necessary, but is mainly locked in a darkened room, scared, cold and alone. Apparently, it will have a companion in a few days. Truth has virtually been abandoned and has little use to the party, so it will be joining democracy in the dark, locked room.

I just hope they can work together, and hatch an escape plan. Although it could take until 2021 for them to finally be free.

While we await the return of truth and democracy, the scourge of homelessness in a Scottish winter continues to be something which the SNP administration haven't got a plan, or indeed a clue, about what is required to help people from freezing to death. There is always some kind of initiative or committee looking into this abhorrent situation, but very little really happens.

This is happening in Scotland in 2017, not 1957 or 1857. It is a national shame and disgrace that people who are amongst the most vulnerable in society, are being treated like a political commodity by the SNP administration. A political party which would have Scotland independent, and they cannot or will not solve something as basic as housing its citizens.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the demise of this political party and its sinister aims. There are signs of unrest in the ranks at the moment, and l feel confident enough to predict a change of leadership before the next election to the Scottish parliament.

Meanwhile, send support and food parcels to truth and democracy. They are going to be needed sooner rather than later.
