Hi, so our president refused to disavow white supremacists last night. Then he told the Proud Boys to stand back and stand by.

This is a call to arms to those who want to cause harm to folks they hate. Words mater. There are people out there that listen to our president and believe every thing he says, and act on it. He told his followers to go to poling places and watch people. No one has the right to try and scare folks who want to vote. This is so so wrong. He is intimidating good people who might be afraid to go vote by encouraging people who have no business being at the polling places. Imagine this, you live in a state where you can open carry guns. Now these folks have been given the "OK" from the president to go to polling places. I am a hunter and gun advocate but the last thing I would ever do is carry around a rifle in a public place. This is wrong folks. Even if you want him to win the election, cant you see what he is doing to those who are afraid already. When did the United States of America become a place where our leader encourages people to go out and intimidate and scare, possible harm, good folks that only want to cast their vote. In my life time, only since Trump has been president.

I stand for all those who want to cast their vote, protest peacefully and try to voice their opinion.

I stand against all those that would crush the spirt of those that have a voice and want to be heard and counted.

If your bosses kid was bullying your kid, what would you do. Would you do nothing because you were afraid of losing your job?

Would you stop it, knowing you might lose your job? I bet you said you would stop it. How about if your bosses son was bullying a strangers kid, would you stop that? I bet you would.

Would you stop any bully if you could? I bet you would. Why than would you support someone who is a bully and encourages others to do the same.

We lose so much of what matters when we base our decisions on the fear that is projected to us from our leaders and those who have power over our lives.

If you support this kind of behavior than be ready when the tide turns, because it will. The fear and hate he encourages now will only rise up the folks that are just as nasty, on the opposite side.

By the way, that is exactly what he wants to happen.

If we are divided, we all lose.

Who are the Proud Boys?

The Proud Boys describe themselves as a men’s organization for “western chauvinists.” Proud Boys affiliates have made misogynistic comments, including support for rape, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

The group has also espoused anti-Muslim, anti-transgender and anti-immigration views while some members hold white supremacist and anti-Semitic views, the ADL said.

Since the group’s founding in 2016, several members have been convicted of violent crimes, the ADL said. In recent months, Proud Boys have fought with people protesting police treatment of Black people in Portland, Ore., and other cities. “Armed with bear mace, clubs, paintball guns and in the case of one Proud Boys member, an actual gun, the Proud Boys engaged in multiple acts of violence against counterprotesters and members of the media,” the ADL said, describing a brawl in Portland.
