Election cycle in full swing! Millions of American rush to the polls to make their voice heard in a quintessential election year. The mud slinging from various political parties entangles Americans, bringing up various questions. What has happened so far?
Tennessee
According to some voters’ reports, some voting machines failed to allow them to vote for their choice. Once voters selected their preference for governor, the machine defaulted to the other party. Tennessee’s elections office noted the glitch and claimed to have resolved the issue. Nonetheless, efforts push to encourage all Tennessee voters to check their ballot before casting it.
Texas
Certain voters of a political party receive a pamphlet addressed to their high school child in the mail. The pamphlet offers services for students seeking support for gender transitioning. However, the pamphlet originated from a company in Wyoming. One can conclude the reason for the pamphlet, but the results seem to work opposite of the desired outcome, enraging many Texas parents (and voters) instead.
Ohio
One candidate running for governor released a video using their opponent’s parents to denounce credibility and the ability to lead the state. However, instead of an effective smear attempt, it confirmed where this particular political party stands and why millions of American should not vote any candidate supporting the political party.
Latest Regime Attempt
As of writing this, a whistleblower in DC allegedly claims the Regime plans to use the United States Postal Service to scan barcodes and match the code with a secret list to denounce ballots. Of course, this is illegal and unconstitutional, but in an effort to remain in power, not beyond this Regime to rig the elections.
Many more stories similar to these exist. The Regime knows what’s at stake with this election. They have mentioned it many times since Trump’s return. Steve Bannon stands correct, if Congress flips to democratic control, millions of Americans hope Congress will hold the Trump Regime accountable for damages incurred to the country. Trump also takes to the campaign trail, delivering rally after rally to spark Republican’s chances of winning. Unfortunately, his rally crowds shrink with each passing day he’s in office and highlights Trump’s mental state. Footage of Trump at rallies shows his incoherence in speaking, making odd and awkward sounds, and more.
Post-election Concern
Some Americans sound the alarm with concerns about what happens after the elections? Should the blue wave come and flood Congress with new hope, what will the Regime do to tighten their grip on control? Ideally, nothing happens. Democrats win and American wait to see if Democrats will deliver. One scenario points to a J6 level of insurrection again. Trump already posted on his social media asking his followers to “fight” against Minnesota, using the same language he used in 2020. Some speculate the results of the 2026 elections could spark a new civil war in the country, especially if the results in key states are close. Some say, the current Congress may refuse to leave Capitol Hill, leaving newly elected official out from performing their duties, or refusing to swear them in (a move Johnson perform after Arizona’s special election). Regardless, we are living in historical times.
My Thoughts
I would love a peaceful transfer of power and an end to this daily rollercoaster of anxiety led by the Trump Regime. I would love the end to the pointless war that entangles our country and holds the world as an economic hostage. I would love a Congress willing to do their job to create policies that benefit everyday Americans instead of siphoning funds from working, low and middle class Americans, to offer tax cuts and breaks to a minority who really do not need the money. I’m not sorry you can’t afford that beachfront property when you already own 2-3 homes.
Footage of outage in France displaying civil unrest, fighting for better education and affordability, makes me question why we, as Americans, are not doing the same. The answer is: as a country; we have too much land mass. Our grievances lie with the Trump Regime in Washington, DC, not with our local state government. Destroying Hawai’i’s state capital in Honolulu does not change the destruction of the Trump Regime in DC. It exacerbates it.
We must use this election cycle to vote in as many progressive candidates who will stand against the Regime and for the American people. We must vote for our future, our children’s future, and our country’s future. Support candidates who understand the daily struggle of millions of Americans living paycheck to paycheck, forced to prioritize paying rent and debt over food and health. Support candidates who stand for human rights and not for corporate PACs.
Together we can.
