Don't Let The Media and The Political Left Fool You This Election
Things are going much better than they want you to believe

It never ceases to amaze me just how powerful the media and propaganda can be in our world. If you listened to the bulk of what is reported, what is taught in our so-called institutions of learning, and what is spewed by the far-left and so-called Democratic Socialists, you'd think the United States was in free-fall. But, if you take just a little bit of time to cut through the BS and look into things yourself, as well as just observing empirical evidence, you'd know they are working hard to gaslight you every day.
These people are most commonly attacking the current administration, and by extension Republicans in Congress, for letting affordability get out of control and creating a poor economy. In reality, neither of these two things are true.
The facts about inflation - at last check, it was approximately 3.5 percent. But, under the previous administration, it reached more than 9 percent! Thus, the current inflation rate is almost 3 thirds less than what it was under the last guy.
The second claim is that gas prices are up. Yes, they are currently up over the lower prices we enjoyed for the first year and a half of the second Trump administration. However, they remain quite a bit lower than the peak of more than $5 as a national average under Joe Biden. Most signs seem to indicate the rise has stabilized at this point.
This also goes along with the claim that "everything costs more now" as quoted from a television ad for AARP. Again, this would be incorrect. First off, things always increase in price. If they didn't, we'd still be paying a nickel for a loaf of bread like they did decades ago. That being said, it's the amount of increase that matters. While gas is the main (and temporary) driver of increases, a few other products are up as well, including meats. However, many are down. Do you remember $6 or more for a dozen eggs? Now they are well under $2. And for the millions on perception medication, the cost has been reduced by an average of at least 60%.
Yes, prices overall have increased by about 3.4 percent. Not exactly out of control by any measure. However, pay has increased as well, and we now have the highest annual median household income on anytime in our nation's history.
Aside from economics, there are several other indicators of wide-range success since Trump entered his second term.
One such example would be a drastic decrease in violent crime nationwide. The rates of violent crime are down to levels so low we haven't seen them in over 100 years! Another example is that there have been literally no illegal crossings at the Southern border in months! And the dangerous drug and Fentanyl epidemic has taken a major hit by blocking more than 10,000 narcoterrorists from entering our country.
The left will try to convince you of many lies and try to entice you with ever more elaborate and unrealistic promises. They are offering free transportation, free childcare, free college, free healthcare and more, none of which can ever actually happen. Someone has to pay for all of this. And when they run out of the "rich" to take from, they will start to take from the middle class and so on. It is simply not realistic. It's like the kid running for class president promising to eliminate homework or ensure every student gets at least a B in every class. It's simply crazy stuff.
Socialism has never worked in any part of the world, so why would it work now? The answer is, it won't and can't, it is impossibly absurd.
Yes, things aren't perfect. But when are they ever? All I can say is that there is zero doubt that we are better off under this president than our last and if we aren't careful about how we vote in November, we could be in a world of trouble.
