Dear America,

We need to have a conversation!

Our societal, economic, environmental, and political challenges have morphed into "societal, economic, environmental, and political issues and philosophical questions.

The institutions representing the physical manifestation of historical high and noble ideas--sit on the shifting sands of change like the "Pearl of the Indian Ocean."

Lay of the Land

Questions which seem to have evaded answer, despite flowing through the stream of time, such as what is the role of government? or what is the appropriate “size” of government?

Questions concerning the aims, best approach, and method to policy making:

• Should public policy aims be utilitarian?

• Does better process produce better policy? If so, does our current political process achieve highest quality policy production value?

• Is revolt or revolution the only ways to achieve fundamental change?

Policy questions which stem from contrived, contorted, and engineered: political occurrences; inter-political party disagreements, and intra-political party feuds; and the political reality and environment which is created by messages finely crafted and spoon feed to the fourth estate. Questions including:

• Is climate change real or not? (Although there is a palpable feeling, at times, this question is beginning to be placed into history’s textbook.)

• Is the real threat of cryptocurrency to fiat currency, stemming from sovereign nations concern arising out of a grossly diminished tax base resulting from the inability, limited ability, or difficulty and complexity in tracking money including, expenses, capital gains, and transfers?

Questions which fundamental shake us, keep us up at night, and leads us to wonder if the boogie man may be real:

• If “diversity” is the noun, “inclusion” is the verb, access and success are the goals, is the United States of America truly working to create a society which promotes and produces “truth and justice for all” or some unknown Machiavellian end? Stated differently, are we all cattle being led to the slaughter?

• Would America be better served as two, three, four. or more than four separate nations?

Even when setting aside the philosophical and higher cognition level questions, in the U.S.A. we are still left with fundamental disagreements whose differential gulf appears to grow by the day. Questions such as:

• Setting aside any debate on the realness of climate change, is climate change an urgent challenge requiring immediate attention, human level cooperation on a global scale? or is climate change really a veiled ploy to displace and deprive individuals and communities of a certain political persuasion from the dignity of work?

• Do deficits really matter? If so, why? If not, why not?

• Is America’s legalization of marijuana and slowly changing drug policy inexplicable enmeshed with the political structure’s ability to tax, control supply flows, and control? or, is America’s legalization of marijuana and slowly changing drug policy really a self- crisis of conscious resulting from America’s disastrous and discriminatory impact?

The Making of History

The philosophical and policy questions which abound our political processes, political structure, and overall political sphere is many.

The philosophical and policy questions which abound our political processes, political structure, and overall political sphere which remain unanswered is growing.

The philosophical and policy questions which abound our political processes, political structure, and overall political sphere which resolve is placed out of reach is countless.

But, still..

Some individuals and organizations, clamor to the foundational crumbling institutions of old, like the vanguards of nobility and high society, or the elders and O.G.'s of communities guiding youth in their transitional development and societal training.

Others wait in the lurch for the changed world to emerge like a natural born prima ballerina waiting for her initial performance.

All the while, some plan, write build, envision, bend, and structure the innovations which will emerge in the new world like the philosophers of ancient, industry titans of old, writers and artist of time's moving stream--embodying the adage "history is being read; but history is also being written!"

An Eye Towards the Future

As the new world emerge, let us be optimistic and focused on the hope which embodies every challenge like a woman in labor. Pushing through pain to birth another sentient being capable of creating, shaping, and molding the human experience.

As the new world emerge, let us think and create the new rules which will guide the way like shinning light from indoor lighting made possible by understanding electricity's principals.

As the new world emerge and rules emerge, let us structure the process to allow for future transformation and innovation without needless and exponential compounding pain like the falling and failing invisible hand, being experienced in time's present.
