It's been a busy few days for Caitlyn Jenner.

After seeing her image on the promotional posters for the remake of It throughout Los Angeles, courtesy of the artist Sabo, Jenner made an appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News, where many television critics said that Carlson basically seemed to be making fun of his guest throughout her appearance. Now, it seems that Jenner might be setting her sights on a continued life in the public eye.

There are rumors that the former Olympian is looking at pursuing public office, and these are being greeted with some interest. Carlson suggested that perhaps Jenner, a longtime Republican, was a one-issue voter because of her vocal displeasure of the stance that President Trump has taken regarding the LGBTQ community. Jenner noted in a recent appearance at the 92 Street Y in New York that she was planning to take the Republican Party to task if President Trump or any other Republicans "screw up" while in office, and that her fight was not with the Republican Party in general.

“I will come after him and come after Republicans if they come after my community," Jenner said. "I’ve got a voice and they better listen, OK? I will come after them.”

Jenner suggested that it was a question about where she would be most effective working - either with her foundation, the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation, which is going to work towards equal rights for transgender people - or on the inside, working in political office.

“I’ve got way too many skeletons in my closet,” she said at first about the suggestion that she run for office, but then considered the question seriously. “Or would I be better working from the inside? If that is the case… I would seriously look at a run. It just depends where I could be more effective.”

In addition to the suggestion that the star could run for public office, there appears to be some trouble brewing within the Kardashian-Jenner clan over the release of Caitlyn Jenner's new book, The Secrets Of My Life. Reportedly, Jenner's stepchildren, Kim, Khloé, Kourtney and Rob, are troubled over revelations that Jenner's ex, Kris Jenner, made her suppress her true self during the years they were married.

During an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Buzz Bissinger said that Kris Jenner's claims that Caitlyn said very little that was positive about her in her book was pure performance for Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Bissinger, a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, co-authored The Secrets Of My Life with Jenner.

"Kris, I don’t know how to say this, she is full of s**t, she is full of s**t," Bissinger said during the interview. "If you were with someone who had breasts from hormones, who was taking hormones and later had to have those breasts removed, wouldn’t you start to think that something was up with that person?"

Bissinger also said that Kris Jenner ignored the positives she was given that were discussed in Caitlyn Jenner's book, such as the love Caitlyn and Kris Jenner shared, her business acumen and her parenting skills, purely for "fodder for her frickin' show."

Caitlyn Jenner now says that she no longer has secrets left in her life, and feels "wonderful" as a result.

“The book is about a lifelong struggle," she said on Live With Kelly. Everybody has their stuff. Everybody has things that they have to deal with in life, and what I’ve dealt with my entire life is my identity with myself as a person. To be able to share that journey with people … feels great."

The Secrets Of My Life hit bookshelves April 25.
