America Threatens to Withdraw Occupation Troops from Nation it Conquered in WW2
Trump demands Germans protest being left alone

In a move that strategists likened to a soccer own goal, the United States unilaterally decided to withdraw occupation troops from Germany, a nation it conquered in a vast, costly campaign of frontline warfare and aerial destruction in 1945.
More puzzlingly, Washington is demanding that Germany voice protests against their departure.
“We’ve occupied Germany for eighty years,” President Trump announced via a late-night social media post. “It’s a great occupation. But frankly, the Germans aren’t being grateful enough for our presence. If they don’t start crying about us leaving, we’re taking our tanks and McDonald's and going home”.
The Pentagon confirmed that it will withdraw 5,000 troops from Germany. The decision follows a heated exchange between Trump and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, whom Trump accused of being “disloyal” for suggesting the U.S. was being humiliated by Iran.
“It’s the ultimate power move,” said one senior White House official. “You don’t just leave a country you conquered; you make them beg you to stay.”
While the U.S. expected weeping crowds at the gates of Ramstein Air Base, most locals seem more concerned with whether the departing Americans will finally return the library books they’ve had since the Eisenhower administration.

German Village Discovers Satire
Residents of Kaiserslautern, situated near Ramstein Air Base, are reportedly “devastated” by the news that they might finally be able to hear their own thoughts for the first time since 1952.
After decades of the U.S. military delivering a 24/7 soundtrack of fighter jets and C-130s take-offs, the prospect of a quiet Sunday morning has sparked a wave of panic across the Rhineland-Palatinate.
“We are demanding that the Americans stay, but only if they promise to fly their F-16s even lower and at more inconvenient hours,” said Klaus Weber, a local activist who has spent thirty years filing noise complaints. “Without the 3:00 AM sonic booms, how will we know that American democracy is still alive?”

A litany of German historic grievances has been rebranded as “cultural exchange programs” by the Trump administration:
- German environmentalists have long pointed to groundwater PFAS contamination around bases like Ramstein and Bitburg. Activists suggest the U.S. will charge Germany an “exit tax” for the carcinogenic firefighting foam left in the soil, marketing it as a “long-acting American chemical souvenir” that stays with the locals for generations.
- The “Eternal Pothole” Heritage Site: Local mayors are worried that without the constant transit of heavy armored convoys, their roads might accidentally become smooth and functional, destroying the “authentic occupation aesthetic” that attracts so many German tourists.
- Since Ramstein serves as the central nervous system for global drone operations, protesters are worried that closing the base might leave them without a reason to form massive human chains on rainy Saturdays. “If Ramstein shuts down, we might have to go back to protesting things that actually affect us, like the price of tuition,” lamented one university student.
The White House has clarified that any troops leaving Germany will head to Poland, a nation that has offered to replace its traditional church bells with recorded jet engine roars just to make the Americans feel at home, and by being occupied by the American military, feel almost as important as Germany.
