Our appearance is dictated by our style and how well we are groomed as men. Our appearance as men is influenced by new fashion, different fashion blogs, and the latest fashion trends for men, and different ethnic styles for men. Our appearance does not only matter to us but also has effects on the people around and unconsciously has a say in the way they relate with us.

Clothing and style has the ability to transform your mental state. If you dress like a professional you will be inclined to acting like a professional. Most men have underestimated the power of dressing up, it can literally psyche you up because you feel good about yourself when you look good. Women for the longest of times have been able to use that to their advantage.

Dressing professionally indirectly enhances self discipline. For instance, inspection of dresses in the military have been continued to remain important and that s not because a well polished boot or well buttoned shirts determines victory but because every soldier learns to pay attention to the tinniest and seemingly in consequential detail. It forces you to be orderly, if you’re going to dress to the nine’s you are going to take time to get your clothes ready before you head out to work and this takes discipline. The effort put into appearing the best allows you to appreciate the efforts others put into looking good and mutual respect is gained when you meet your fellow man well dressed just like you.

The effect and power of visuals cannot be over emphasised when it comes to your appearance. Certain studies have proven that visuals have three to five times the effect that sound has. It simply reiterates the fact that you are seen before you are heard. A test can be taken simply by dressing up to a restaurant, you will notice that will receive a better quality of service than being dressed shabbily and without style. Job seekers score higher points at interviews based on their dress sense and style. Even at work, when delivering your business idea, dress well because a well dressed employee has a higher chance of being taken more seriously than a lazy dresser.

You have seen this advisory on several fashion blogs and men's blogs, and you are wondering what is so special about your appearance? You are addressed the way you are dressed. Would you love to be treated like a street beggar? I doubt that. Wooden hangers are preferable for your shirts because they do not cause wrinkles after ironing. Your clothes should be washed regularly. Do not assume that you did not sweat and so, should not wash your clothes that often. Well, may I announce to you that heat may unconsciously cling to your dress and result in body odor. Ironing your clothes is a necessity. I find ironing a problematic task, but instead of wearing wrinkled clothes.

Furthermore, first impressions are made by our appearances. First impressions can last an entire lifetime and must not be trivialized. Humans will always judge you by what you look like. Tags and identities can be wrongly given just because of your appearance. This on the long run can have a negative or positive impact on relationships or interactions with fellow individuals.

We men must also learn to inculcate colours and patterns into our style and overall appearance. They are an excellent way of grabbing people’s attention and accentuating our own natural hues and tones. However, you must first understand those that are best suited to you and determine the message and signal you want to pass across with your choices.
